Ecco, egli era elevato in dignità sopra i trenta; ma pur non arrivò a quegli altri tre. E Davide lo costituì sopra la gente ch'egli avea del continuo a suo comando.

Y fué el más honrado de los treinta, mas no llegó á los tres primeros. A éste puso David en su consejo.

Behold, he was honourable among the thirty, but attained not to the first three: and David set him over his guard.

Behold, he was more honorable than the thirty, but he didn’t attain to the three; and David set him over his guard.
