David y los dirigentes se fueron a Jerusalén (o Jebús, como era costumbre llamarla) donde vivían los jebuseos, que eran los primeros habitantes de esa tierra.

Entonces se fué David con todo Israel á Jerusalem, la cual es Jebus; y allí era el Jebuseo habitador de aquella tierra.
