1 Crónicas 11

Y habitó David en el alcázar; que por esto fue llamado Ciudad de David;

Y David habitó en la fortaleza, y por esto le llamaron la ciudad de David.

And David dwelt in the castle; therefore they called it the city of David.

David lived in the stronghold; therefore they called it David’s city.
