Et tous les Israélites se rassemblèrent auprès de David, à Hébron, et lui dirent : Voici, nous sommes tes os et ta chair.

ENTONCES todo Israel se juntó á David en Hebrón, diciendo: He aquí nosotros somos tu hueso y tu carne.

Then all Israel gathered themselves to David unto Hebron, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.

And moreover in time past, even when Saul was king, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD thy God said unto thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be ruler over my people Israel.

In times past, even when Saul was king, it was you who led out and brought in Israel. The LORD your God said to you, ‘You shall be shepherd of my people Israel, and you shall be prince over my people Israel.’”

Et tous les Anciens d'Israël vinrent vers le roi à Hébron, et David fit alliance avec eux à Hébron, devant l'Eternel, et ils oignirent David pour roi sur Israël, selon l'ordre que l'Eternel avait donné par la bouche de Samuel.

Y vinieron todos los ancianos de Israel al rey en Hebrón, y David hizo con ellos alianza delante de Jehová; y ungieron á David por rey sobre Israel, conforme á la palabra de Jehová por mano de Samuel.

Therefore came all the elders of Israel to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the LORD; and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the LORD by Samuel.

Et David marcha avec tout Israël sur Jérusalem ; c'est Jébus ; et là étaient les Jébusiens, qui habitaient le pays ;

Entonces se fué David con todo Israel á Jerusalem, la cual es Jebus; y allí era el Jebuseo habitador de aquella tierra.

And David and all Israel went to Jerusalem, which is Jebus; where the Jebusites were, the inhabitants of the land.

et les habitants de Jébus dirent à David : Tu n'entreras pas ici ! Et David s'empara de la forteresse de Sion : c'est la cité de David.

Y los moradores de Jebus dijeron á David: No entrarás acá. Mas David tomó la fortaleza de Sión, que es la ciudad de David.

And the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, Thou shalt not come hither. Nevertheless David took the castle of Zion, which is the city of David.

The inhabitants of Jebus said to David, “You will not come in here!” Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion. The same is David’s city.

Et David avait dit : Quiconque battra le premier les Jébusiens, sera chef et prince. Et Joab, fils de Tséruja, monta le premier, et il devint chef.

Y David había dicho: El que primero hiriere al Jebuseo, será cabeza y jefe. Entonces Joab hijo de Sarvia subió el primero, y fué hecho jefe.

And David said, Whosoever smiteth the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain. So Joab the son of Zeruiah went first up, and was chief.

David had said, “Whoever strikes the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain.” Joab the son of Zeruiah went up first, and was made chief.

Et David s'établit dans la forteresse ; c'est pourquoi on l'appela cité de David.

Y David habitó en la fortaleza, y por esto le llamaron la ciudad de David.

And David dwelt in the castle; therefore they called it the city of David.

Et il fortifia l'enceinte de la ville, à partir de Millo, tout autour ; et Joab répara le reste de la ville.

Et David allait s'avançant et grandissant, et l'Eternel des armées était avec lui.

So David waxed greater and greater: for the LORD of hosts was with him.

Et voici les chefs des vaillants hommes de David, qui l'assistèrent puissamment à l'égard de la royauté, avec tout Israël, pour le faire roi, selon la parole de l'Eternel sur Israël.

Estos son los principales de los valientes que David tuvo, y los que le ayudaron en su reino, con todo Israel, para hacerle rey sobre Israel, conforme á la palabra de Jehová.

These also are the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who strengthened themselves with him in his kingdom, and with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the LORD concerning Israel.

Voici la liste des vaillants hommes de David : Jasobéam, fils de Hacmoni, chef des trente ; il brandit sa lance sur trois cents hommes tués dans une seule rencontre.

Y este es el número de los valientes que David tuvo: Jasobam hijo de Hachmoni, caudillo de los treinta, el cual blandió su lanza una vez contra trescientos, á los cuales mató.

And this is the number of the mighty men whom David had; Jashobeam, an Hachmonite, the chief of the captains: he lifted up his spear against three hundred slain by him at one time.

Après lui Eléazar, fils de Dodo, l'Achochite ; il était l'un des trois vaillants hommes.

Il était avec David à Pas-Dammim, lorsque les Philistins s'étaient rassemblés là pour combattre... Et il y avait †là une pièce de terre remplie d'orge, et le peuple fuyait devant les Philistins.

Este estuvo con David en Pasdammin, estando allí juntos en batalla los Filisteos: y había allí una suerte de tierra llena de cebada, y huyendo el pueblo delante de los Filisteos,

Ils se placèrent au milieu du champ et le défendirent, et frappèrent les Philistins, et l'Eternel opéra une grande délivrance.

And they set themselves in the midst of that parcel, and delivered it, and slew the Philistines; and the LORD saved them by a great deliverance.

Et trois d'entre les trente chefs descendirent sur le rocher, vers David, à la caverne d'Adullam, et les Philistins étaient campés dans la vallée des Réphaïm.

And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Beth-lehem, that is at the gate!

Alors les trois †vaillants hommes passèrent au travers du camp des Philistins, et puisèrent de l'eau de la citerne qui est à la porte de Bethléem ; ils l'apportèrent et la présentèrent à David ; mais David ne voulut pas la boire, et il en fit une libation à l'Eternel.

Y aquellos tres rompieron por el campo de los Filisteos, y sacaron agua del pozo de Beth-lehem, que está á la puerta, y tomaron y trajéronla á David: mas él no la quiso beber, sino que la derramó á Jehová, y dijo:

And the three brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Beth-lehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: but David would not drink of it, but poured it out to the LORD,

Et il dit : Loin de moi ! Que mon Dieu me garde de faire cela ! Boirais-je le sang de ces hommes †qui sont allés au péril de leur vie? car c'est au péril de leur vie qu'ils ont apporté †cette eau. Et il ne voulut pas la boire. Voilà ce que firent les trois vaillants hommes.

Guárdeme mi Dios de hacer esto: ¿había yo de beber la sangre de estos varones con sus vidas, que con peligro de sus vidas la han traído? Y no la quiso beber. Esto hicieron aquellos tres valientes.

And said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing: shall I drink the blood of these men that have put their lives in jeopardy? for with the jeopardy of their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mightiest.

and said, “My God forbid me, that I should do this! Shall I drink the blood of these men who have put their lives in jeopardy?” For they risked their lives to bring it. Therefore he would not drink it. The three mighty men did these things.

Et Abisaï, frère de Joab, était chef des officiers. Il brandit sa lance sur trois cents hommes tués ; et il n'eut pas nom parmi les trois.

Y Abisai, hermano de Joab, era cabeza de los tres, el cual blandió su lanza sobre trescientos, á los cuales hirió; y fué entre los tres nombrado.

And Abishai the brother of Joab, he was chief of the three: for lifting up his spear against three hundred, he slew them, and had a name among the three.

Il était le plus considéré des trois de la seconde série et il fut leur chef, mais il n'égala pas les trois.

De los tres fué más ilustre que los otros dos, y fué el principal de ellos: mas no llegó á los tres primeros.

Of the three, he was more honourable than the two; for he was their captain: howbeit he attained not to the first three.

Bénaïa, fils de Jéhojada, fils d'un homme vaillant, grand en exploits, de Kabtséel ; c'est lui qui frappa les deux lions de Dieu de Moab ; et c'est lui qui descendit et frappa un lion dans une citerne, par un jour de neige.

Benaías hijo de Joiada, hijo de varón de esfuerzo, de grandes hechos, de Cabseel: él venció los dos leones de Moab: también descendió, é hirió un león en mitad de un foso en tiempo de nieve.

Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done many acts; he slew two lionlike men of Moab: also he went down and slew a lion in a pit in a snowy day.

C'est lui encore qui frappa l'Egyptien, homme d'une taille immense, haut de cinq coudées. L'Egyptien tenait dans sa main une lance comme une ensouple de tisserand ; †Bénaïa descendit vers lui avec un bâton, arracha la lance de la main de l'Egyptien et le tua avec sa lance.

El mismo venció á un Egipcio, hombre de cinco codos de estatura: y el Egipcio traía una lanza como un enjullo de tejedor; mas él descendió á él con un bastón, y arrebató al Egipcio la lanza de la mano, y matólo con su misma lanza.

And he slew an Egyptian, a man of great stature, five cubits high; and in the Egyptian’s hand was a spear like a weaver’s beam; and he went down to him with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian’s hand, and slew him with his own spear.

Voilà ce que fit Bénaïa, fils de Jéhojada ; et il eut du renom parmi les trois hommes forts.

Il était plus considéré que les trente, mais il n'égala pas les trois. David lui donna une place dans son conseil.
