Als David sich dann mit den Anführern der Tausendschaften und der Hundertschaften, mit allen Fürsten beraten hatte,

sagte er zu der ganzen Volksgemeinde Israels: »Wenn es euch gut dünkt und es vom HERRN, unserm Gott, gebilligt wird, so wollen wir schleunigst zu unseren übrigen Volksgenossen, die in allen Gegenden Israels zurückgeblieben sind, sowie zu den Priestern und den Leviten, die bei ihnen in den Ortschaften ihrer Bezirke wohnen, Boten senden, damit sie insgesamt zu uns herkommen;

Y dijo David á todo el congreso de Israel: Si os parece bien y de Jehová nuestro Dios, enviaremos á todas partes á llamar nuestros hermanos que han quedado en todas las tierras de Israel, y á los sacerdotes y Levitas que están con ellos en sus ciudades y ejidos que se junten con nosotros;

And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us:

David said to all the assembly of Israel, “If it seems good to you, and if it is of the LORD our God, let’s send word everywhere to our brothers who are left in all the land of Israel, with whom the priests and Levites are in their cities that have pasture lands, that they may gather themselves to us.

wir wollen dann die Lade unseres Gottes zu uns herüberholen; denn während der Regierung Sauls haben wir uns nicht um sie gekümmert.«

Y traigamos el arca de nuestro Dios á nosotros, porque desde el tiempo de Saúl no hemos hecho caso de ella.

And let us bring again the ark of our God to us: for we enquired not at it in the days of Saul.

Da erklärte sich die ganze Versammlung mit dem Vorschlage einverstanden; denn er hatte den Beifall des ganzen Volkes gefunden.

Entonces juntó David á todo Israel, desde Sihor de Egipto hasta entrar en Hamath, para que trajesen el arca de Dios de Chîriath-jearim.

So David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor of Egypt even unto the entering of Hemath, to bring the ark of God from Kirjath-jearim.

Darauf zog David mit ganz Israel hinauf nach Baala, das ist nach Kirjath-Jearim, welches zu Juda gehört, um von dort die Lade Gottes heraufzuholen, die nach dem Namen des HERRN benannt ist, der über den Cheruben thront.

Y subió David con todo Israel á Baala de Chîriath-jearim, que es en Judá, para pasar de allí el arca de Jehová Dios que habita entre los querubines, sobre la cual su nombre es invocado.

And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjath-jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the LORD, that dwelleth between the cherubims, whose name is called on it.

Sie führten dann die Lade Gottes auf einem neuen Wagen aus dem Hause Abinadabs weg, indem Ussa und Ahjo den Wagen leiteten;

David aber und alle Israeliten tanzten vor Gott her mit Aufbietung aller Kräfte: mit Gesängen und unter Begleitung von Zithern und Harfen, Handpauken, Zimbeln und Trompeten.

Y David y todo Israel hacían alegrías delante de Dios con todas sus fuerzas, con canciones, arpas, salterios, tamboriles, címbalos y trompetas.

Als sie nun so bis zur Tenne Kidons gekommen waren, streckte Ussa seine Hand aus, um die Lade festzuhalten, weil die Rinder ausgeglitten waren.

Da entbrannte der Zorn des HERRN gegen Ussa, und er schlug ihn zur Strafe dafür, daß er mit der Hand nach der Lade gegriffen hatte, so daß er dort vor den Augen Gottes starb.

Y el furor de Jehová se encendió contra Uzza, é hiriólo, porque había extendido su mano al arca: y murió allí delante de Dios.

And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.

Da wurde David tief betrübt darüber, daß der HERR einen solchen Schlag gegen Ussa geführt hatte; daher nannte man jenen Ort Perez-Ussa bis auf den heutigen Tag.

David aber geriet an jenem Tage in Furcht vor Gott, so daß er ausrief: »Wie kann ich da die Lade Gottes zu mir bringen?«

Weil David also die Lade des HERRN nicht zu sich in die Davidsstadt bringen lassen wollte, ließ er sie abseits in das Haus des Gathiters Obed-Edom setzen.

Y no trajo David el arca á su casa en la ciudad de David, sino llevóla á casa de Obed-edom Getheo.

So David brought not the ark home to himself to the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.

So blieb denn die Lade Gottes ein Vierteljahr lang bei der Familie Obed-Edoms, in dessen Hause, stehen; der HERR aber segnete das Haus Obed-Edoms und seinen gesamten Besitz.

Y el arca de Dios estuvo en casa de Obed-edom, en su casa, tres meses: y bendijo Jehová la casa de Obed-edom, y todas las cosas que tenía.

And the ark of God remained with the family of Obed-edom in his house three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Obed-edom, and all that he had.
