Davide tenne consiglio coi capi di migliaia e di centinaia, cioè con tutti i principi del popolo,

ENTONCES David tomó consejo con los capitanes de millares y de cientos, y con todos los jefes.

poi disse a tutta la raunanza d’Israele: “Se vi par bene, e se l’Eterno, il nostro Dio, l’approva, mandiamo da per tutto a dire ai nostri fratelli che son rimasti in tutte le regioni d’Israele, e così pure ai sacerdoti ed ai Leviti nelle loro città e nei loro contadi, che si uniscano a noi;

Y dijo David á todo el congreso de Israel: Si os parece bien y de Jehová nuestro Dios, enviaremos á todas partes á llamar nuestros hermanos que han quedado en todas las tierras de Israel, y á los sacerdotes y Levitas que están con ellos en sus ciudades y ejidos que se junten con nosotros;

And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us:

David said to all the assembly of Israel, “If it seems good to you, and if it is of the LORD our God, let’s send word everywhere to our brothers who are left in all the land of Israel, with whom the priests and Levites are in their cities that have pasture lands, that they may gather themselves to us.

e riconduciamo qui da noi l’arca del nostro Dio; poiché non ce ne siamo occupati ai tempi di Saul”.

Y traigamos el arca de nuestro Dios á nosotros, porque desde el tiempo de Saúl no hemos hecho caso de ella.

And let us bring again the ark of our God to us: for we enquired not at it in the days of Saul.

Also, let’s bring the ark of our God back to us again, for we didn’t seek it in the days of Saul.”

E tutta la raunanza rispose che si facesse così giacché la cosa parve buona agli occhi di tutto il popolo.

Y dijo todo el congreso que se hiciese así, porque la cosa parecía bien á todo el pueblo.

And all the congregation said that they would do so: for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people.

Davide dunque radunò tutto Israele dallo Scihor d’Egitto fino all’ingresso di Hamath, per ricondurre l’arca di Dio da Kiriath-Jearim.

Entonces juntó David á todo Israel, desde Sihor de Egipto hasta entrar en Hamath, para que trajesen el arca de Dios de Chîriath-jearim.

So David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor of Egypt even unto the entering of Hemath, to bring the ark of God from Kirjath-jearim.

E Davide, con tutto Israele, salì verso Baala, cioè verso Kiriath-Jearim, che appartiene a Giuda, per trasferire di là l’arca di Dio, dinanzi alla quale è invocato il nome dell’Eterno, che siede sovr’essa fra i cherubini.

Y subió David con todo Israel á Baala de Chîriath-jearim, que es en Judá, para pasar de allí el arca de Jehová Dios que habita entre los querubines, sobre la cual su nombre es invocado.

And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjath-jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the LORD, that dwelleth between the cherubims, whose name is called on it.

David went up with all Israel to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath Jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up from there God the LORD’s ark that sits above the cherubim, that is called by the Name.

E posero l’arca di Dio sopra un carro nuovo, levandola dalla casa di Abinadab; e Uzza ed Ahio conducevano il carro.

Y lleváronse el arca de Dios de la casa de Abinadab en un carro nuevo; y Uzza y su hermano guiaban el carro.

And they carried the ark of God in a new cart out of the house of Abinadab: and Uzza and Ahio drave the cart.

Davide e tutto Israele danzavano dinanzi a Dio a tutto potere, cantando e sonando cetre, saltèri, timpani, cembali e trombe.

Y David y todo Israel hacían alegrías delante de Dios con todas sus fuerzas, con canciones, arpas, salterios, tamboriles, címbalos y trompetas.

And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets.

Or come furon giunti all’aia di Kidon, Uzza stese la mano per reggere l’arca, perché i buoi la facevano piegare.

E l’ira dell’Eterno s’accese contro Uzza, e l’Eterno lo colpì per avere stesa la mano sull’arca; e quivi Uzza morì dinanzi a Dio.

Y el furor de Jehová se encendió contra Uzza, é hiriólo, porque había extendido su mano al arca: y murió allí delante de Dios.

And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.

Davide si attristò perché l’Eterno avea fatto una breccia nel popolo, colpendo Uzza; e quel luogo è stato chiamato Perets-Uzza fino al dì d’oggi.

Y David tuvo pesar, porque Jehová había hecho rotura en Uzza; por lo que llamó aquel lugar Pérez-uzza, hasta hoy.

And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzza: wherefore that place is called Perez-uzza to this day.

E Davide in quel giorno, ebbe paura di Dio, e disse: “Come farò a portare a casa mia l’arca di Dio?”

And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me?

E Davide non ritirò l’arca presso di sé, nella città di Davide, ma la fece portare in casa di Obed-Edom di Gath.

Y no trajo David el arca á su casa en la ciudad de David, sino llevóla á casa de Obed-edom Getheo.

So David brought not the ark home to himself to the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.

So David didn’t move the ark with him into David’s city, but carried it aside into Obed-Edom the Gittite’s house.

E l’arca di Dio rimase tre mesi dalla famiglia di Obed-Edom, in casa di lui; e l’Eterno benedisse la casa di Obed-Edom e tutto quello che gli apparteneva.

Y el arca de Dios estuvo en casa de Obed-edom, en su casa, tres meses: y bendijo Jehová la casa de Obed-edom, y todas las cosas que tenía.

And the ark of God remained with the family of Obed-edom in his house three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Obed-edom, and all that he had.
