Então Hirão, rei de Tiro, enviou mensageiros a Davi, e também madeira de cedro, pedreiros e carpinteiros, para lhe edificarem uma casa.

E HIRAM rey de Tiro envió embajadores á David, y madera de cedro, y albañiles y carpinteros, que le edificasen una casa.

Now Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David, and timber of cedars, with masons and carpenters, to build him an house.

E Davi entendeu que o SENHOR o tinha confirmado por rei sobre Israel, pois seu reino tinha sido exaltado, por causa de seu povo Israel.

Y entendió David que Jehová lo había confirmado por rey sobre Israel, y que había ensalzado su reino sobre su pueblo Israel.

And David perceived that the LORD had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel.

E Davi teve mais esposas em Jerusalém, e Davi ainda gerou filhos e filhas.

Quando, pois, os filisteus ouviram que Davi havia sido ungido rei sobre todo Israel, todos os filisteus subiram em busca de Davi. E quando Davi ouviu falar disso, logo saiu contra eles.

Y oyendo los Filisteos que David había sido ungido por rey sobre todo Israel, subieron todos los Filisteos en busca de David. Y como David lo oyó, salió contra ellos.

E os filisteus vieram e ocuparam o vale de Refaim.

Y vinieron los Filisteos, y extendiéronse por el valle de Raphaim.

Então Davi consultou a Deus, dizendo: Subirei contra os filisteus? E tu os entregarás em minhas mãos?E o SENHOR lhe disse: Sobe, porque eu os entregarei em teus mãos.

Entonces David consultó á Dios, diciendo: ¿Subiré contra los Filisteos? ¿los entregarás en mi mano? Y Jehová le dijo: Sube, que yo los entregaré en tus manos.

And David enquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand.

David inquired of God, saying, “Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will you deliver them into my hand?” The LORD said to him, “Go up; for I will deliver them into your hand.”

Davi subiu, pois, Baal-Perazim, e ali os derrotou. Então Davi disse: Por minha mão Deus rompeu meus inimigos, como se rompem as águas.Por isso chamaram o nome daquele lugar Baal-Perazim.

Subieron pues á Baal-perasim, y allí los hirió David. Dijo luego David: Dios rompió mis enemigos por mi mano, como se rompen las aguas. Por esto llamaron el nombre de aquel lugar Baal-perasim.

So they came up to Baal-perazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baal-perazim.

E ali deixaram seus deuses, e Davi mandou que fossem queimados a fogo.

Y dejaron allí sus dioses, y David dijo que los quemasen al fuego.

And when they had left their gods there, David gave a commandment, and they were burned with fire.

Porém os filisteus voltaram a ocupar o vale.

Y volviendo los Filisteos á extenderse por el valle,

And the Philistines yet again spread themselves abroad in the valley.

Então Davi voltou a consultar a Deus, e Deus lhe disse: Não subas por trás deles; em vez disso rodeia-os, e vem contra eles em frente das amoreiras;

David volvió á consultar á Dios, y Dios le dijo: No subas tras ellos, sino rodéalos, para venir á ellos por delante de los morales;

Therefore David enquired again of God; and God said unto him, Go not up after them; turn away from them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees.

David inquired again of God; and God said to him, “You shall not go up after them. Turn away from them, and come on them opposite the mulberry trees.

E será que ouvires, quando tu ouvires o ruído do marchar das tropas pelas copas das amoreiras, então sai à batalha; porque Deus sairá adiante de ti para derrotar o acampamento dos filisteus.

Y así que oyeres venir un estruendo por las copas de los morales, sal luego á la batalla: porque Dios saldrá delante de ti, y herirá el campo de los Filisteos.

And it shall be, when thou shalt hear a sound of going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt go out to battle: for God is gone forth before thee to smite the host of the Philistines.

When you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the mulberry trees, then go out to battle; for God has gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines.”

E Davi fez como Deus lhe mandara, e feriram o acampamento dos filisteus desde Gibeão até Gezer.

Hizo pues David como Dios le mandó, é hirieron el campo de los Filisteos desde Gabaón hasta Gezer.

David therefore did as God commanded him: and they smote the host of the Philistines from Gibeon even to Gazer.

E a fama de Davi se espalhou por todas aquelas terras; e o SENHOR fez todas aquelas nações temerem a Davi.

Y la fama de David fué divulgada por todas aquellas tierras: y puso Jehová temor de David sobre todas las gentes.
