David se bâtit des maisons dans la cité de David; il prépara une place à l’arche de Dieu, et dressa pour elle une tente.

HIZO también casas para sí en la ciudad de David, y labró un lugar para el arca de Dios, y tendióle una tienda.

And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.

Alors David dit: L’arche de Dieu ne doit être portée que par les Lévites, car l’Éternel les a choisis pour porter l’arche de Dieu et pour en faire le service à toujours.

Entonces dijo David: El arca de Dios no debe ser traída sino por los Levitas; porque á ellos ha elegido Jehová para que lleven el arca de Jehová, y le sirvan perpetuamente.

Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever.

Then David said, “No one ought to carry God’s ark but the Levites. For the LORD has chosen them to carry God’s ark, and to minister to him forever.”

Et David assembla tout Israël à Jérusalem pour faire monter l’arche de l’Éternel à la place qu’il lui avait préparée.

Y juntó David á todo Israel en Jerusalem, para que pasasen el arca de Jehová á su lugar, el cual le había él preparado.

David appela les sacrificateurs Tsadok et Abiathar, et les Lévites Uriel, Asaja, Joël, Schemaeja, Éliel et Amminadab.

Y llamó David á Sadoc y á Abiathar, sacerdotes, y á los Levitas, Uriel, Asaías, Joel, Semeías, Eliel, y Aminadab;

And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,

Il leur dit: Vous êtes les chefs de famille des Lévites; sanctifiez-vous, vous et vos frères, et faites monter à la place que je lui ai préparée l’arche de l’Éternel, du Dieu d’Israël.

And said unto them, Ye are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it.

and said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, both you and your brothers, that you may bring the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel, up to the place that I have prepared for it.

Parce que vous n’y étiez pas la première fois, l’Éternel, notre Dieu, nous a frappés; car nous ne l’avons pas cherché selon la loi.

Pues por no haberlo hecho así vosotros la primera vez, Jehová nuestro Dios hizo en nosotros rotura, por cuanto no le buscamos según la ordenanza.

For because ye did it not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.

Les sacrificateurs et les Lévites se sanctifièrent pour faire monter l’arche de l’Éternel, du Dieu d’Israël.

And the children of the Levites bare the ark of God upon their shoulders with the staves thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word of the LORD.

So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;

Y con ellos á sus hermanos del segundo orden, á Zachârías, Ben y Jaaziel, Semiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaías, Maasías, y Mathithías, Eliphelehu, Micnías, Obed-edom, y Jehiel, los porteros.

And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, the porters.

and with them their brothers of the second rank: Zechariah, Ben, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, the doorkeepers.

Les chantres Héman, Asaph et Éthan avaient des cymbales d’airain, pour les faire retentir.

Así Hemán, Asaph, y Ethán, que eran cantores, sonaban con címbalos de metal.

So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;

And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries on Alamoth;

and Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with stringed instruments set to Alamoth;

et Matthithia, Éliphelé, Miknéja, Obed-Édom, Jeïel et Azazia, avaient des harpes à huit cordes, pour conduire le chant.

Y Mathithías, Eliphelehu, Micnías, Obed-edom, Jehiel, y Azazías, cantaban con arpas en la octava sobresaliendo.

And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps on the Sheminith to excel.

and Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps tuned to the eight-stringed lyre, to lead.

Kenania, chef de musique parmi les Lévites, dirigeait la musique, car il était habile.

Y Chênanías, principal de los Levitas, estaba para la entonación; pues él presidía en el canto, porque era entendido.

And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skilful.

And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obed-edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.
