Hierauf baute er sich Häuser in der Davidsstadt und richtete für die Lade Gottes eine Stätte her, indem er ein Zelt für sie aufschlug.

HIZO también casas para sí en la ciudad de David, y labró un lugar para el arca de Dios, y tendióle una tienda.

And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.

Damals ordnete David an: »Niemand darf die Lade Gottes tragen außer den Leviten! Denn diese hat der HERR dazu erwählt, die Lade Gottes zu tragen und ihm allezeit Dienste zu verrichten.«

Entonces dijo David: El arca de Dios no debe ser traída sino por los Levitas; porque á ellos ha elegido Jehová para que lleven el arca de Jehová, y le sirvan perpetuamente.

Dann entbot David das gesamte Israel nach Jerusalem, um die Lade des HERRN an die Stätte hinaufzuschaffen, die er für sie hatte herrichten lassen;

Darauf berief David die Priester Zadok und Abjathar und die Leviten Uriel, Asaja und Joel, Semaja und Eliel und Amminadab

Y llamó David á Sadoc y á Abiathar, sacerdotes, y á los Levitas, Uriel, Asaías, Joel, Semeías, Eliel, y Aminadab;

And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,

Weil ihr nämlich das vorige Mal nicht zugegen gewesen seid, hat der HERR, unser Gott, Unheil unter uns angerichtet, zur Strafe dafür, daß wir nicht in gebührender Weise Rücksicht auf ihn genommen hatten.«

And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, the porters.

and with them their brothers of the second rank: Zechariah, Ben, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, the doorkeepers.

dazu die Sänger Heman, Asaph und Ethan mit kupfernen Zimbeln, um die Musik zu verstärken,

So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;

and Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with stringed instruments set to Alamoth;

ferner Matthithja, Eliphelehu, Mikneja, Obed-Edom, Jehiel und Asasja mit Harfen, zu denen sie mit Baßstimmen sangen und den Gesang leiteten.

Y Mathithías, Eliphelehu, Micnías, Obed-edom, Jehiel, y Azazías, cantaban con arpas en la octava sobresaliendo.

Kenanja ferner, der Oberste der Leviten beim Tragen (der heiligen Geräte), führte die Aufsicht beim Tragen, denn er verstand sich darauf;
