1 Crónicas 15

David hizo para él casas en la Ciudad de David. Preparó un lugar para el Arca de ʼElohim y levantó una tienda para ella.

HIZO también casas para sí en la ciudad de David, y labró un lugar para el arca de Dios, y tendióle una tienda.

And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.

David made himself houses in David’s city; and he prepared a place for God’s ark, and pitched a tent for it.

Entonces David dijo: El Arca de ʼElohim no debe ser llevada sino por los levitas, porque Yavé los eligió para que la lleven y le sirvan perpetuamente.

Entonces dijo David: El arca de Dios no debe ser traída sino por los Levitas; porque á ellos ha elegido Jehová para que lleven el arca de Jehová, y le sirvan perpetuamente.

Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever.

Then David said, “No one ought to carry God’s ark but the Levites. For the LORD has chosen them to carry God’s ark, and to minister to him forever.”

David congregó a todo Israel en Jerusalén para que trasladaran el Arca de Yavé al lugar que había preparado para ella.

Y juntó David á todo Israel en Jerusalem, para que pasasen el arca de Jehová á su lugar, el cual le había él preparado.

And David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD unto his place, which he had prepared for it.

De los hijos de Uziel, Aminadab el principal, y 112 de sus hermanos.

David llamó a los sacerdotes Sadoc y Abiatar, y a los levitas Uriel, Asaías, Joel, Semaías, Eliel y Aminadab.

Y llamó David á Sadoc y á Abiathar, sacerdotes, y á los Levitas, Uriel, Asaías, Joel, Semeías, Eliel, y Aminadab;

And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,

Les dijo: Ustedes son los principales padres de las familias de los levitas. Santifíquense, ustedes y sus hermanos, para que suban el Arca de Yavé ʼElohim de Israel al lugar que le preparé.

Y díjoles: Vosotros que sois los principales de padres entre los Levitas, santificaos, vosotros y vuestros hermanos, y pasad el arca de Jehová Dios de Israel al lugar que le he preparado;

And said unto them, Ye are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it.

and said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, both you and your brothers, that you may bring the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel, up to the place that I have prepared for it.

Pues por no hacerlo ustedes la primera vez, Yavé nuestro ʼElohim nos quebrantó, por cuanto no le consultamos según el orden prescrito.

Pues por no haberlo hecho así vosotros la primera vez, Jehová nuestro Dios hizo en nosotros rotura, por cuanto no le buscamos según la ordenanza.

For because ye did it not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.

For because you didn’t carry it at first, the LORD our God broke out in anger against us, because we didn’t seek him according to the ordinance.”

Así que los sacerdotes y los levitas se santificaron para subir el Arca de Yavé ʼElohim de Israel.

So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel.

Los hijos de los levitas llevaron el Arca de ʼElohim con las barras puestas sobre sus hombros, tal como Moisés ordenó, según la Palabra de Yavé.

And the children of the Levites bare the ark of God upon their shoulders with the staves thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word of the LORD.

Asimismo David dijo a los jefes de los levitas que designaran de sus hermanos cantores con instrumentos de música, con salterios y arpas y címbalos resonantes, y que alzaran la voz con alegría.

Asimismo dijo David á los principales de los Levitas, que constituyesen de sus hermanos cantores, con instrumentos de música, con salterios, y arpas, y címbalos, que resonasen, y alzasen la voz con alegría.

And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of musick, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.

Los levitas designaron a Hemán, hijo de Joel, y de sus parientes a Asaf, hijo de Berequías, y de los hijos de Merari y de sus hermanos, a Etán, hijo de Cusaías.

Y los Levitas constituyeron á Hemán hijo de Joel; y de sus hermanos, á Asaph hijo de Berechîas; y de los hijos de Merari y de sus hermanos, á Ethán hijo de Cusaías;

So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;

Con ellos, a sus hermanos de segundo grado, a Zacarías, hijo de Jahaziel, Semiramot, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaía, Maasías, Matatías, Elifelehu, Micnías, Obed-edom y Jeiel, los porteros.

Y con ellos á sus hermanos del segundo orden, á Zachârías, Ben y Jaaziel, Semiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaías, Maasías, y Mathithías, Eliphelehu, Micnías, Obed-edom, y Jehiel, los porteros.

And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, the porters.

and with them their brothers of the second rank: Zechariah, Ben, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, the doorkeepers.

Así Hemán, Asaf y Etán, que eran cantores, sonaban címbalos de bronce.

So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;

Zacarías, Aziel, Semiramot, Jehiel, Uni, Eliab, Maasías y Benaía, tocaban salterios de tono alto.

Y Zachârías, Jaaziel, Semiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maasías, y Benaías, con salterios sobre Alamoth.

And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries on Alamoth;

and Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with stringed instruments set to Alamoth;

Matatías, Elifelehu, Micnías, Obede-dom, Jeiel y Azazías, dirigían con liras templadas en tono alto.

Y Mathithías, Eliphelehu, Micnías, Obed-edom, Jehiel, y Azazías, cantaban con arpas en la octava sobresaliendo.

And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps on the Sheminith to excel.

and Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps tuned to the eight-stringed lyre, to lead.

Quenanías, principal de los levitas en la música, fue designado para elevar el canto, porque era entendido para esto.

Y Chênanías, principal de los Levitas, estaba para la entonación; pues él presidía en el canto, porque era entendido.

And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skilful.

Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was over the singing. He taught the singers, because he was skillful.

Berequías y Elcana eran porteros del Arca.

And Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.

Sebanías, Josafat, Natanael, Amasai, Zacarías, Benaía y Eliezer, sacerdotes, tocaban las trompetas delante del Arca de ʼElohim, y Obed-edom y Jehías eran también porteros del Arca.

Y Sebanías, Josaphat, Nathanael, Amasai, Zachârías, Benaías, y Eliezer, sacerdotes, tocaban las trompetas delante del arca de Dios: Obed-edom y Jehías eran también porteros del arca.

And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obed-edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.

Shebaniah, Joshaphat, Nethanel, Amasai, Zechariah, Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, blew the trumpets before God’s ark; and Obed-Edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.

Entonces David fue con los ancianos de Israel y los jefes de millares a subir el Arca del Pacto de Yavé con alegría, desde la casa de Obed-edom.

David pues y los ancianos de Israel, y los capitanes de millares, fueron á traer el arca del pacto de Jehová, de casa de Obed-edom, con alegría.

So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the house of Obed-edom with joy.

Sucedió que como ʼElohim ayudaba a los levitas que llevaban el Arca del Pacto de Yavé, ellos sacrificaron siete becerros y siete carneros.

Y ayudando Dios á los Levitas que llevaban el arca del pacto de Jehová, sacrificaban siete novillos y siete carneros.

And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, that they offered seven bullocks and seven rams.

David iba vestido con un manto de lino fino y también los cantores y todos los levitas que cargaban el Arca. Quenanías era el director del canto de los cantores. David llevaba sobre él un efod de lino.

De esta manera todo Israel subía el Arca del Pacto de Yavé con aclamaciones al sonido de la corneta, con trompetas y címbalos muy resonantes y al son de salterios y arpas.

Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the LORD with shouting, and with sound of the cornet, and with trumpets, and with cymbals, making a noise with psalteries and harps.

Cuando el Arca del Pacto de Yavé entró en la Ciudad de David, aconteció que Mical, la hija de Saúl, miró por la ventana. Al ver que el rey David saltaba y se regocijaba, lo despreció en su corazón.

Y como el arca del pacto de Jehová llegó á la ciudad de David, Michâl, hija de Saúl, mirando por una ventana, vió al rey David que saltaba y bailaba; y menospreciólo en su corazón.

And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of the LORD came to the city of David, that Michal the daughter of Saul looking out at a window saw king David dancing and playing: and she despised him in her heart.
