Hizo también casas para sí en la ciudad de David, y labró un lugar para el arca de Dios, y tendióle una tienda.

And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.

Entonces dijo David: El arca de Dios no debe ser traída sino por los Levitas, porque a ellos ha elegido Jehová para que lleven el arca de Jehová y le sirvan perpetuamente.

Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever.

Y juntó David a todo Israel en Jerusalem, para que pasasen el arca de Jehová a su lugar, que él le había aparejado.

Y llamó también David a Sadoc, y a Abiatar sacerdotes, y a los Levitas, Uriel, Asaías, Joel, Semeías, Eliel, y Aminadab,

And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,

And said unto them, Ye are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it.

and said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, both you and your brothers, that you may bring the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel, up to the place that I have prepared for it.

Porque por no haberlo hecho así vosotros la primera vez, Jehová nuestro Dios hizo en nosotros rotura; por cuanto no le buscamos según la ordenanza.

So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;

Y con ellos a sus hermanos de la segunda orden, a Zacarías, Ben, y Jaziel: Semiramot, Jahiel, Ani, Eliab, Banaías, Maasias, y Matatías, Elifalu, Macenías, Obed-edom y Jehiel, los porteros.

Y con ellos á sus hermanos del segundo orden, á Zachârías, Ben y Jaaziel, Semiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaías, Maasías, y Mathithías, Eliphelehu, Micnías, Obed-edom, y Jehiel, los porteros.

And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, the porters.

and with them their brothers of the second rank: Zechariah, Ben, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, the doorkeepers.

Ítem, Emán, Asaf, y Etán eran cantores, los cuales alzaban su voz con címbalos de metal.

So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;

Y Zacarías, Oziel, Semiramot, Jahiel, Ani, Eliab, Maasias, y Banaías, con salterios sobre Alamot.

And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries on Alamoth;

and Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with stringed instruments set to Alamoth;

Ítem, Matatías, Elifalu, Macenías, Obed-edom, Jehiel, y Ozazías cantaban con arpas en la octava sobrepujando.

Y Mathithías, Eliphelehu, Micnías, Obed-edom, Jehiel, y Azazías, cantaban con arpas en la octava sobresaliendo.

And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps on the Sheminith to excel.

and Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps tuned to the eight-stringed lyre, to lead.

Y Conenías, príncipe de los Levitas, en la profecía, porque él presidía en la profecía, por cuanto era entendido.

Y Chênanías, principal de los Levitas, estaba para la entonación; pues él presidía en el canto, porque era entendido.

And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skilful.

Ítem, Sebenías, Josafat, Natanael, Amasai, Zacarías, Banaías, y Eliezer, sacerdotes, tocaban las trompetas delante del arca de Dios: y Obed-edom, y Jahias eran porteros del arca.

And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obed-edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.

Y David, y los ancianos de Israel, y los capitanes de los millares fueron a traer el arca del concierto de Jehová de casa de Obed-edom con alegrías.

So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the house of Obed-edom with joy.

Y ayudando Dios a los Levitas que llevaban el arca del concierto de Jehová, sacrificaban siete novillos y siete carneros.

And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, that they offered seven bullocks and seven rams.
