1 Crónicas 15

Construyó también casa para sí o su familia en la ciudad de David, y edificó para el arca de Dios un lugar propio, y le formó un tabernáculo.

HIZO también casas para sí en la ciudad de David, y labró un lugar para el arca de Dios, y tendióle una tienda.

And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.

David made himself houses in David’s city; and he prepared a place for God’s ark, and pitched a tent for it.

Entonces dijo David: No es lícito que el arca de Dios sea llevada por otros que por los de la tribu de Leví, escogidos por el Señor para llevarla, y para ser sus ministros perpetuamente.

Entonces dijo David: El arca de Dios no debe ser traída sino por los Levitas; porque á ellos ha elegido Jehová para que lleven el arca de Jehová, y le sirvan perpetuamente.

Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever.

Then David said, “No one ought to carry God’s ark but the Levites. For the LORD has chosen them to carry God’s ark, and to minister to him forever.”

En consecuencia, congregó a todo Israel en Jerusalén , para trasladar el arca de Dios al lugar propio que le tenía preparado.

Y juntó David á todo Israel en Jerusalem, para que pasasen el arca de Jehová á su lugar, el cual le había él preparado.

And David gathered all Israel together to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the LORD unto his place, which he had prepared for it.

Y convocó también a los hijos de Aarón y a los levitas.

De los hijos de Gersom era cabeza Joel, y tenía consigo ciento treinta hermanos.

De los hijos de Hebrón el principal era Eliel, y ochenta los hermanos que tenía consigo.

De los hijos de Oziel era Aminadab el principal, y tenía consigo ciento doce hermanos.

Y llamó David en particular a los sacerdotes Sadoc, y Abiatar, y a los levitas Uriel, Asaya, Joel, Semeía, Eliel y Aminadab,

And David called for Zadok and Abiathar the priests, and for the Levites, for Uriel, Asaiah, and Joel, Shemaiah, and Eliel, and Amminadab,

y les dijo: Vosotros que sois los principales de las familias levíticas, purificaos junto con vuestros hermanos los demás levitas, y transportad el arca del Señor Dios de Israel al lugar que le está preparado.

Y díjoles: Vosotros que sois los principales de padres entre los Levitas, santificaos, vosotros y vuestros hermanos, y pasad el arca de Jehová Dios de Israel al lugar que le he preparado;

And said unto them, Ye are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it.

and said to them, “You are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites. Sanctify yourselves, both you and your brothers, that you may bring the ark of the LORD, the God of Israel, up to the place that I have prepared for it.

No sea que como antes nos castigó el Señor, porque vosotros no estabais presentes; acontezca ahora lo mismo, si hacemos alguna cosa que no nos es permitida.

Pues por no haberlo hecho así vosotros la primera vez, Jehová nuestro Dios hizo en nosotros rotura, por cuanto no le buscamos según la ordenanza.

For because ye did it not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order.

For because you didn’t carry it at first, the LORD our God broke out in anger against us, because we didn’t seek him according to the ordinance.”

Se purificaron, pues, los sacerdotes y levitas para transportar el arca del Señor Dios de Israel.

Así los sacerdotes y los Levitas se santificaron para traer el arca de Jehová Dios de Israel.

So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel.

And the children of the Levites bare the ark of God upon their shoulders with the staves thereon, as Moses commanded according to the word of the LORD.

Mandó también David a los jefes de los levitas que señalasen de entre sus hermanos cantores y tocadores de instrumentos músicos, es a saber, de salterios, de liras y de címbalos; a fin de que resonasen hasta el cielo los sonidos de júbilo.

Asimismo dijo David á los principales de los Levitas, que constituyesen de sus hermanos cantores, con instrumentos de música, con salterios, y arpas, y címbalos, que resonasen, y alzasen la voz con alegría.

And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of musick, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.

Señalaron, pues, de los levitas a Hemam, hijo de Joel, y de los hermanos de éste a Asaf, hijo de Baraquís, y de los hijos de Merari, hermanos suyos, a Etán, hijo de Casaya,

So the Levites appointed Heman the son of Joel; and of his brethren, Asaph the son of Berechiah; and of the sons of Merari their brethren, Ethan the son of Kushaiah;

con sus hermanos. En el segundo orden o coro a Zacarías, a Ben, a Jaziel, a Semiramot, y Jahiel, y Ani; a Eliab, y Bananías, y Maasías, y Matatías, y Elifalú, y Masenías, y Obededom, y Jehiel que eran porteros.

Y con ellos á sus hermanos del segundo orden, á Zachârías, Ben y Jaaziel, Semiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaías, Maasías, y Mathithías, Eliphelehu, Micnías, Obed-edom, y Jehiel, los porteros.

And with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, the porters.

and with them their brothers of the second rank: Zechariah, Ben, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Benaiah, Maaseiah, Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel, the doorkeepers.

Los cantores Hemam, Asaf y Etán tocaban los címbalos de bronce;

Así Hemán, Asaph, y Ethán, que eran cantores, sonaban con címbalos de metal.

So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were appointed to sound with cymbals of brass;

So the singers, Heman, Asaph, and Ethan, were given cymbals of bronze to sound aloud;

Zacarías, y Oziel, y Semiramot, y Jahiel, y Ani, y Eliab, y Maasías, y Banaías cantaban al son de salterios himnos misteriosos.

Y Zachârías, Jaaziel, Semiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maasías, y Benaías, con salterios sobre Alamoth.

And Zechariah, and Aziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, and Eliab, and Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with psalteries on Alamoth;

and Zechariah, Aziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Unni, Eliab, Maaseiah, and Benaiah, with stringed instruments set to Alamoth;

Matatías, Elifalú, y Macenías, y Obededom, y Jehiel, y Ozaziú cantaban cánticos triunfales con cítaras de ocho cuerdas;

Y Mathithías, Eliphelehu, Micnías, Obed-edom, Jehiel, y Azazías, cantaban con arpas en la octava sobresaliendo.

And Mattithiah, and Elipheleh, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps on the Sheminith to excel.

and Mattithiah, Eliphelehu, Mikneiah, Obed-Edom, Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps tuned to the eight-stringed lyre, to lead.

Conenías, jefe de los levitas, era el maes-tro que dirigía el canto, por ser muy inteligente.

Y Chênanías, principal de los Levitas, estaba para la entonación; pues él presidía en el canto, porque era entendido.

And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites, was for song: he instructed about the song, because he was skilful.

Baraquías y Elcana hacían de porteros o ujieres del arca .

Y Berechîas y Elcana eran porteros del arca.

And Berechiah and Elkanah were doorkeepers for the ark.

Y Sebenías, y Josafat, y Natanael, y Amasaí, y Zacarías, y Banaías, y Eliezer, sacerdotes, tocaban las trompetas o clarines delante del arca de Dios; Obededom y Jehías eran asimismo porteros del arca .

And Shebaniah, and Jehoshaphat, and Nethaneel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow with the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obed-edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.

De este modo David y todos los ancianos de Israel, y los tribunos fueron a trasladar el arca del Testamento del Señor de la casa de Obededom a Jerusalén con fiestas y regocijos.

David pues y los ancianos de Israel, y los capitanes de millares, fueron á traer el arca del pacto de Jehová, de casa de Obed-edom, con alegría.

So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the house of Obed-edom with joy.

Y por haber Dios asistido o mostrádose propicio con los levitas que llevaban el arca del Testamento del Señor, fueron inmolados siete toros y siete carneros.

Y ayudando Dios á los Levitas que llevaban el arca del pacto de Jehová, sacrificaban siete novillos y siete carneros.

And it came to pass, when God helped the Levites that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, that they offered seven bullocks and seven rams.

Iba David vestido de una ropa talar de biso, como también todos los levitas que llevaban el arca , y los cantores, y Conenías, su director; mas David estaba también revestido de un efod de lino.

Y todo Israel acompañaba el arca de Testamento del Señor con voces de júbilo, y al son de clarines, y trompetas, y timbales, y salterios, y cítaras.
