David dejó a Asaf y a sus compañeros a cargo del arca del pacto de Yahvé, para que sirvieran allí continuamente todos los días.
Y dejó allí, delante del arca del pacto de Jehová, á Asaph y á sus hermanos, para que ministrasen de continuo delante del arca, cada cosa en su día:
So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day’s work required:

También dejó a Obed-Edom y a sus sesenta y ocho parientes. Obed-Edom, hijo de Jedutún, y Hosa fueron designados como porteros.
Y á Obed-edom y á sus hermanos, sesenta y ocho; y á Obed-edom hijo de Jeduthún, y á Asa, por porteros:

Al sacerdote Sadoc y a sus compañeros los sacerdotes, los dejó frente a la tienda sagrada de Yahvé en el santuario que estaba en Gabaón,
Asimismo á Sadoc el sacerdote, y á sus hermanos los sacerdotes, delante del tabernáculo de Jehová en el alto que estaba en Gabaón,
And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that was at Gibeon,

para que ofrecieran sacrificios quemados a Yahvé en el altar continuamente, por la mañana y por la tarde, de acuerdo con todo lo que está escrito en la ley que Yahvé le dio a Israel.
Para que sacrificasen continuamente, á mañana y tarde, holocaustos á Jehová en el altar del holocausto, conforme á todo lo que está escrito en la ley de Jehová, que él prescribió á Israel;
To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and to do according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel;

Con ellos estaban Hemán, Jedutún y los demás músicos elegidos y nombrados para dar gracias a Yahvé, porque su gran amor dura para siempre.
Y con ellos á Hemán y á Jeduthún, y los otros escogidos declarados por sus nombres, para glorificar á Jehová, porque es eterna su misericordia;

Hemán y Jedutún tenían trompetas y címbalos para que los tocaran, junto con otros instrumentos para acompañar los cantos a Dios. Los hijos de Jedutún estaban a cargo de las puertas.
Con ellos á Hemán y á Jeduthún con trompetas y címbalos para tañer, y con otros instrumentos de música de Dios; y á los hijos de Jeduthún, por porteros.
And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun were porters.

Después, todo el pueblo regresó a sus casas, y David se fue a bendecir a su propia familia.
