Et David mit †garnison dans la Syrie de Damas, et les Syriens furent assujettis à David et lui payèrent tribut. L'Eternel donnait la victoire à David partout où il allait.

Then David put garrisons in Syria-damascus; and the Syrians became David’s servants, and brought gifts. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.
