E pôs Davi guarnição na Síria de Damasco, e os sírios foram feitos servos de Davi, trazendo-lhe presentes; porque o SENHOR salvava a Davi por onde quer que fosse.

Y puso David guarnición en Siria la de Damasco, y los Siros fueron hechos siervos de David, trayéndole presentes: porque Jehová salvaba á David donde quiera que iba.

Then David put garrisons in Syria-damascus; and the Syrians became David’s servants, and brought gifts. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.

Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus; and the Syrians became servants to David and brought tribute. The LORD gave victory to David wherever he went.
