Joabe disse: "Se os sírios forem muitos fortes para mim, então tu, Absai, deve me resgatar. Mas, se o exército dos amonitas for muito forte para vós, então, eu virei e vos resgatarei.

Y dijo: Si los Siros fueren más fuertes que yo, tú me salvarás; y si los Ammonitas fueren más fuertes que tú, yo te salvaré.

And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me: but if the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will help thee.

He said, “If the Syrians are too strong for me, then you are to help me; but if the children of Ammon are too strong for you, then I will help you.
