Las tropas del rey Hadad Ezer se rindieron al rey David y pasaron a ser sus súbditos. Y los sirios nunca más ayudaron a los amonitas en sus batallas.

Y viendo los Siros de Adarezer que habían caído delante de Israel, concertaron paz con David, y fueron sus siervos; y nunca más quiso el Siro ayudar á los hijos de Ammón.

And when the servants of Hadarezer saw that they were put to the worse before Israel, they made peace with David, and became his servants: neither would the Syrians help the children of Ammon any more.
