3Pero los jefes de los hijos de Amón le dijeron a Hanun: ¿Te parece que David está honrando a tu padre, enviando consoladores? ¿No está claro que estos hombres solo han venido para recorrer la tierra y hacer una observación secreta de ella para que puedan vencerla?

3Los príncipes de los hijos de Ammón dijeron á Hanán: ¿A tu parecer honra David á tu padre, que te ha enviado consoladores? ¿no vienen antes sus siervos á ti para escudriñar, é inquirir, y reconocer la tierra?

3But the princes of the children of Ammon said to Hanun, Thinkest thou that David doth honour thy father, that he hath sent comforters unto thee? are not his servants come unto thee for to search, and to overthrow, and to spy out the land?
World English Bible
3But the princes of the children of Ammon said to Hanun, “Do you think that David honors your father, in that he has sent comforters to you? Haven’t his servants come to you to search, to overthrow, and to spy out the land?”
