5Y fueron unos y dijeron a David de cómo aquellos varones habían sido tratados; y él envió a recibirlos, porque estaban muy avergonzados. Y el rey les dijo: Quédense en Jericó hasta que les crezca la barba, y entonces regresen.

5Fuéronse pues, y dada que fué la nueva á David de aquellos varones, él envió á recibirlos, porque estaban muy afrentados. E hízoles decir el rey: Estaos en Jericó hasta que os crezca la barba, y entonces volveréis.

5Then there went certain, and told David how the men were served. And he sent to meet them: for the men were greatly ashamed. And the king said, Tarry at Jericho until your beards be grown, and then return.

5Then some people went and told David how the men were treated. He sent to meet them; for the men were greatly humiliated. The king said, “Stay at Jericho until your beards have grown, and then return.”
