6Al darse cuenta de que se habían ganado el odio de David, Hanún y los amonitas enviaron treinta y tres mil kilos de plata para alquilar carros y jinetes de Mesopotamia, de Aram-maacá y de Soba.

6Y viendo los hijos de Ammón que se habían hecho odiosos á David, Hanán y los hijos de Ammón enviaron mil talentos de plata, para tomar á sueldo carros y gente de á caballo de Siria de los ríos, y de la Siria de Maachâ, y de Soba.

6And when the children of Ammon saw that they had made themselves odious to David, Hanun and the children of Ammon sent a thousand talents of silver to hire them chariots and horsemen out of Mesopotamia, and out of Syria-maachah, and out of Zobah.
