And Arphaxad fathered Shelah; and Shelah fathered Eber.

Arphaxad engendró á Sela, y Sela engendró á Heber.

And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.

Arpachshad became the father of Shelah, and Shelah became the father of Eber.
