Or il arriva l’armée suivante, au temps que les Rois font leur sortie, que Joab conduisit le gros de l’armée, et ravagea le pays des enfants de Hammon ; puis il alla assiéger Rabba, tandis que David demeurait à Jérusalem ; et Joab battit Rabba, et la détruisit.

Y ACONTECIÓ á la vuelta del año, en el tiempo que suelen los reyes salir á la guerra, que Joab sacó las fuerzas del ejército, y destruyó la tierra de los hijos de Ammón, y vino y cercó á Rabba. Mas David estaba en Jerusalem: y Joab batió á Rabba, y destruyóla.

And it came to pass, that after the year was expired, at the time that kings go out to battle, Joab led forth the power of the army, and wasted the country of the children of Ammon, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried at Jerusalem. And Joab smote Rabbah, and destroyed it.

Il y eut encore une autre guerre à Gath, où se trouva un homme de grande stature, qui avait six doigts à chaque main, et six orteils à chaque pied, de sorte qu’il en avait en tout vingt-quatre ; et il était aussi de la race de Rapha.
