E Davi disse a Araúna: “Vim comprar este terreno e desejo pagar um preço justo. Quero construir nele um altar para o Senhor, para que a peste acabe sobre o povo”.

Y viniendo David á Ornán, miró éste, y vió á David: y saliendo de la era, postróse en tierra á David.

Then David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of this threshingfloor, that I may build an altar therein unto the LORD: thou shalt grant it me for the full price: that the plague may be stayed from the people.

Then David said to Ornan, “Sell me the place of this threshing floor, that I may build an altar to the LORD on it. You shall sell it to me for the full price, that the plague may be stopped from afflicting the people.”
