Und Satan stand auf wider Israel und reizte David, Israel zählen zu lassen.

MAS Satanás se levantó contra Israel, é incitó á David á que contase á Israel.

And Satan stood up against Israel, and provoked David to number Israel.

Und David sprach zu Joab und zu den Obersten des Volkes: Gehet hin, zählet Israel von Beerseba an bis gen Dan, und bringet mir Bericht, daß ich ihre Anzahl wisse!

Y dijo David á Joab y á los príncipes del pueblo: Id, contad á Israel desde Beer-seba hasta Dan, y traedme el número de ellos para que yo lo sepa.

And David said to Joab and to the rulers of the people, Go, number Israel from Beer-sheba even to Dan; and bring the number of them to me, that I may know it.

David said to Joab and to the princes of the people, “Go, count Israel from Beersheba even to Dan; and bring me word, that I may know how many there are.”

Joab sprach: Der HERR tue zu seinem Volk, wie zahlreich es jetzt ist, noch hundertmal mehr hinzu! Aber sind sie nicht, mein Herr und König, alle meines Herrn Knechte? Warum soll eine Schuld auf Israel kommen?

Y dijo Joab: Añada Jehová á su pueblo cien veces otros tantos. Rey señor mío, ¿no son todos estos siervos de mi señor? ¿para qué procura mi señor esto, que será pernicioso á Israel?

And Joab answered, The LORD make his people an hundred times so many more as they be: but, my lord the king, are they not all my lord’s servants? why then doth my lord require this thing? why will he be a cause of trespass to Israel?

Joab said, “May the LORD make his people a hundred times as many as they are. But, my lord the king, aren’t they all my lord’s servants? Why does my lord require this thing? Why will he be a cause of guilt to Israel?”

Aber des Königs Wort blieb fest wider Joab. Und Joab zog aus und durchwanderte ganz Israel und kam wieder nach Jerusalem.

Mas el mandamiento del rey pudo más que Joab. Salió por tanto Joab, y fué por todo Israel; y volvió á Jerusalem, y dió la cuenta del número del pueblo á David.

Und Joab gab David die Zahl des gemusterten Volkes an. Das ganze Israel zählte elfhunderttausend Männer, die das Schwert zogen, und Juda vierhundertsiebzigtausend Männer, die das Schwert zogen.

Y hallóse en todo Israel que sacaban espada, once veces cien mil; y de Judá cuatrocientos y setenta mil hombres que sacaban espada.

And Joab gave the sum of the number of the people unto David. And all they of Israel were a thousand thousand and an hundred thousand men that drew sword: and Judah was four hundred threescore and ten thousand men that drew sword.

Joab gave the sum of the census of the people to David. All those of Israel were one million one hundred thousand men who drew a sword; and in Judah were four hundred seventy thousand men who drew a sword.

Levi aber und Benjamin hatte er nicht mit ihnen gemustert; denn des Königs Wort war Joab ein Greuel.

Entre estos no fueron contados los Levitas, ni los hijos de Benjamín, porque Joab abominaba el mandamiento del rey.

Und solches mißfiel Gott; darum schlug er Israel.

Asimismo desagradó este negocio á los ojos de Dios, é hirió á Israel.

Und David sprach zu Gott: Ich habe schwer gesündigt, daß ich diese Sache getan habe. Nun aber nimm doch die Missetat deines Knechtes hinweg, denn ich habe sehr töricht gehandelt!

Y dijo David á Dios: He pecado gravemente en hacer esto: ruégote que hagas pasar la iniquidad de tu siervo, porque yo he hecho muy locamente.

And David said unto God, I have sinned greatly, because I have done this thing: but now, I beseech thee, do away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.

David said to God, “I have sinned greatly, in that I have done this thing. But now put away, I beg you, the iniquity of your servant, for I have done very foolishly.”

Und der HERR redete zu Gad, dem Seher Davids, und sprach:

Gehe hin, sage zu David und sprich: So spricht der HERR: Dreierlei lege ich dir vor, erwähle dir eins davon, das ich dir tun soll!

Ve, y habla á David, y dile: Así ha dicho Jehová: Tres cosas te propongo; escoge de ellas una que yo haga contigo.

Go and tell David, saying, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things: choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.

“Go and speak to David, saying, ‘The LORD says, “I offer you three things. Choose one of them, that I may do it to you.”’”

Und als Gad zu David kam, sprach er zu ihm: So spricht der HERR: Wähle dir:

Y viniendo Gad á David, díjole: Así ha dicho Jehová:

So Gad came to David, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Choose thee

So Gad came to David and said to him, “The LORD says, ‘Take your choice:

entweder drei Jahre Hungersnot oder drei Monate lang Flucht vor deinen Widersachern, so daß dich das Schwert deiner Feinde ereilt, oder drei Tage lang das Schwert des HERRN und die Pestilenz im Lande, und den Engel des HERRN, den Verderber, im ganzen Gebiete Israels. So siehe nun zu, was ich dem antworten soll, der mich gesandt hat!

Escógete, ó tres años de hambre; ó ser por tres meses deshecho delante de tus enemigos, y que la espada de tus adversarios te alcance; ó por tres días la espada de Jehová y pestilencia en la tierra, y que el ángel de Jehová destruya en todo el término de Israel: mira pues qué he de responder al que me ha enviado.

Either three years’ famine; or three months to be destroyed before thy foes, while that the sword of thine enemies overtaketh thee; or else three days the sword of the LORD, even the pestilence, in the land, and the angel of the LORD destroying throughout all the coasts of Israel. Now therefore advise thyself what word I shall bring again to him that sent me.

David sprach zu Gad: Mir ist sehr angst! Ich will in die Hand des HERRN fallen; denn seine Barmherzigkeit ist sehr groß; aber in der Menschen Hände will ich nicht fallen!

Entonces David dijo á Gad: Estoy en grande angustia: ruego que yo caiga en la mano de Jehová; porque sus misericordias son muchas en extremo, y que no caiga yo en manos de hombres.

And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let me fall now into the hand of the LORD; for very great are his mercies: but let me not fall into the hand of man.

David said to Gad, “I am in distress. Let me fall, I pray, into the LORD’s hand, for his mercies are very great. Don’t let me fall into man’s hand.”

Da ließ der HERR Pestilenz über Israel kommen, also daß siebzigtausend Mann aus Israel fielen.

Así Jehová dió pestilencia en Israel, y cayeron de Israel setenta mil hombres.

So the LORD sent pestilence upon Israel: and there fell of Israel seventy thousand men.

Und Gott sandte den Engel gen Jerusalem, es zu verderben. Und als er verderbte, sah der HERR darein und ließ sich das Übel gereuen und sprach zum Engel, dem Verderber: Genug! Ziehe nun deine Hand ab! Der Engel des HERRN aber stand bei der Tenne Ornans, des Jebusiters.

Y envió Jehová el ángel á Jerusalem para destruirla: pero estando él destruyendo, miró Jehová, y arrepintióse de aquel mal,

And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the LORD beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

God sent an angel to Jerusalem to destroy it. As he was about to destroy, the LORD saw, and he relented of the disaster, and said to the destroying angel, “It is enough. Now withdraw your hand.” the LORD’s angel was standing by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

Und David erhob seine Augen und sah den Engel des HERRN zwischen Erde und Himmel stehen, und in seiner Hand ein bloßes Schwert, über Jerusalem ausgestreckt. Da fielen David und die Ältesten, in Säcke gehüllt, auf ihr Angesicht.

Y dijo al ángel que destruía: Basta ya; detén tu mano. Y el ángel de Jehová estaba junto á la era de Ornán Jebuseo.

And David lifted up his eyes, and saw the angel of the LORD stand between the earth and the heaven, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders of Israel, who were clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.

Und David sprach zu Gott: Habe nicht ich gesagt, daß man das Volk zählen solle? Ich bin es, der gesündigt und das große Übel getan hat. Was haben aber diese Schafe getan? HERR, mein Gott, laß doch deine Hand wider mich und meines Vaters Haus sein, und nicht wider dein Volk zur Plage!

Y alzando David sus ojos, vió al ángel de Jehová, que estaba entre el cielo y la tierra, teniendo un espada desnuda en su mano, extendida contra Jerusalem. Entonces David y los ancianos se postraron sobre sus rostros, cubiertos de sacos.

And David said unto God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be numbered? even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed; but as for these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, O LORD my God, be on me, and on my father’s house; but not on thy people, that they should be plagued.

David said to God, “Isn’t it I who commanded the people to be counted? It is even I who have sinned and done very wickedly; but these sheep, what have they done? Please let your hand, O LORD my God, be against me and against my father’s house; but not against your people, that they should be plagued.”

Und der Engel des HERRN befahl Gad, David zu sagen, daß er hinaufgehen solle, dem HERRN einen Altar aufzurichten in der Tenne Ornans, des Jebusiters.

Y dijo David á Dios: ¿No soy yo el que hizo contar el pueblo? Yo mismo soy el que pequé, y ciertamente he hecho mal; mas estas ovejas, ¿qué han hecho? Jehová Dios mío, sea ahora tu mano contra mí, y contra la casa de mi padre, y no haya plaga en tu pueblo.

Then the angel of the LORD commanded Gad to say to David, that David should go up, and set up an altar unto the LORD in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.

Then the LORD’s angel commanded Gad to tell David that David should go up and raise an altar to the LORD on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

Also ging David hinauf nach dem Worte Gads, das dieser im Namen des HERRN geredet hatte.

Y el ángel de Jehová ordenó á Gad que dijese á David, que subiese y construyese un altar á Jehová en la era de Ornán Jebuseo.

And David went up at the saying of Gad, which he spake in the name of the LORD.

Und Ornan wandte sich um und sah den Engel, und seine vier Söhne versteckten sich mit ihm; Ornan drosch gerade Weizen.

Und David kam zu Ornan; und Ornan blickte um sich und ward Davids gewahr und ging aus der Tenne heraus und bückte sich vor David mit dem Angesicht zur Erde.

And as David came to Ornan, Ornan looked and saw David, and went out of the threshingfloor, and bowed himself to David with his face to the ground.

Und David sprach zu Ornan: Gib mir den Platz der Tenne, daß ich dem HERRN einen Altar darauf baue (um den vollen Geldwert sollst du mir ihn geben), damit die Plage von dem Volk abgewandt werde!

Y viniendo David á Ornán, miró éste, y vió á David: y saliendo de la era, postróse en tierra á David.

Then David said to Ornan, Grant me the place of this threshingfloor, that I may build an altar therein unto the LORD: thou shalt grant it me for the full price: that the plague may be stayed from the people.

Then David said to Ornan, “Sell me the place of this threshing floor, that I may build an altar to the LORD on it. You shall sell it to me for the full price, that the plague may be stopped from afflicting the people.”

Ornan aber sprach zu David: Nimm ihn hin, mein Herr und König tue damit, was ihm gefällt! Siehe, ich gebe die Rinder zu Brandopfern und die Dreschschlitten als Brennholz und den Weizen zum Speisopfer; alles schenke ich!

Entonces dijo David á Ornán: Dame este lugar de la era, en que edifique un altar á Jehová, y dámelo por su cabal precio, para que cese la plaga del pueblo.

And Ornan said unto David, Take it to thee, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes: lo, I give thee the oxen also for burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the meat offering; I give it all.

Ornan said to David, “Take it for yourself, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes. Behold, I give the oxen for burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the meal offering. I give it all.”

Aber der König David sprach zu Ornan: Nicht also, sondern ich will es um den vollen Geldwert kaufen! Denn ich will nicht für den HERRN nehmen, was dir gehört, und umsonst Brandopfer bringen!

Y Ornán respondió á David: Tómalo para ti, y haga mi señor el rey lo que bien le pareciere: y aun los bueyes daré para el holocausto, y los trillos para leña, y trigo para el presente: yo lo doy todo.

And king David said to Ornan, Nay; but I will verily buy it for the full price: for I will not take that which is thine for the LORD, nor offer burnt offerings without cost.

King David said to Ornan, “No, but I will most certainly buy it for the full price. For I will not take that which is yours for the LORD, nor offer a burnt offering that costs me nothing.”

Also gab David dem Ornan für den Platz sechshundert gewogene Goldschekel.

Entonces el rey David dijo á Ornán: No, sino que efectivamente la compraré por su justo precio: porque no tomaré para Jehová lo que es tuyo, ni sacrificaré holocausto que nada me cueste.

So David gave to Ornan for the place six hundred shekels of gold by weight.

Und David baute dem HERRN daselbst einen Altar und opferte Brandopfer und Dankopfer. Und als er den HERRN anrief, antwortete er ihm mit Feuer vom Himmel, †das er auf den Brandopferaltar †fallen ließ.

Und der HERR gebot dem Engel, sein Schwert wieder in die Scheide zu stecken.

Y edificó allí David un altar á Jehová, en el que ofreció holocaustos y sacrificios pacíficos, é invocó á Jehová, el cual le respondió por fuego de los cielos en el altar del holocausto.

And the LORD commanded the angel; and he put up his sword again into the sheath thereof.

Zu jener Zeit, als David sah, daß der HERR ihn in der Tenne Ornans, des Jebusiters, erhört hatte, pflegte er daselbst zu opfern.

Die Wohnung des HERRN aber, die Mose in der Wüste gemacht hatte, und der Brandopferaltar waren zu jener Zeit auf der Höhe zu Gibeon.

Entonces viendo David que Jehová le había oído en la era de Ornán Jebuseo, sacrificó allí.

David aber konnte nicht vor denselben treten, um Gott zu suchen; so sehr war er erschrocken vor dem Schwerte des Engels des HERRN.

Y el tabernáculo de Jehová que Moisés había hecho en el desierto, y el altar del holocausto, estaban entonces en el alto de Gabaón: Mas David no pudo ir allá á consultar á Dios, porque estaba espantado á causa de la espada del ángel de Jehová.
