También hicieron del hierro una gran cantidad de clavos que se necesitarían para las puertas, los portones y los cerrojos; y fundieron tanto bronce, que era demasiado para determinar el peso.

Asimismo aparejó David mucho hierro para la clavazón de las puertas, y para las junturas; y mucho metal sin peso, y madera de cedro sin cuenta.
