5E Davide diceva: Salomone, mio figliuolo, è fanciullo, e tenero; e la Casa che si deve edificare al Signore, ha da essere sommamente magnifica in fama ed in gloria appo tutti i paesi; ora dunque io gliene farò gli apparecchi. Così Davide, davanti alla sua morte, apparecchiò le materie in gran quantità.

5Y dijo David: Salomón mi hijo es muchacho y tierno, y la casa que se ha de edificar á Jehová ha de ser magnífica por excelencia, para nombre y honra en todas las tierras; ahora pues yo le aparejaré lo necesario. Y preparó David antes de su muerte en grande abundancia.

5And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for the LORD must be exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.
