David dit donc: "Voici †à présent la maison de l’Eternel Elohim, et voici son autel pour holocaustes à l’usage d’Israël!"

Y DIJO David: Esta es la casa de Jehová Dios, y este es el altar del holocausto para Israel.

Then David said, This is the house of the LORD God, and this is the altar of the burnt offering for Israel.

Then David said, “This is the house of the LORD God, and this is the altar of burnt offering for Israel.”

David ordonna de grouper ensemble les étrangers établis dans le pays d’Israël, et il en fit des carriers pour extraire des pierres de taille en vue de la construction du temple de Dieu.

Después mandó David que se juntasen los extranjeros que estaban en la tierra de Israel, y señaló de ellos canteros que labrasen piedras para edificar la casa de Dios.

And David commanded to gather together the strangers that were in the land of Israel; and he set masons to hew wrought stones to build the house of God.

David gave orders to gather together the foreigners who were in the land of Israel; and he set masons to cut dressed stones to build God’s house.

David prépara, en outre, du fer en quantité pour les clous, pour les battants des portes et pour les crampons, et une telle provision de cuivre qu’on ne pouvait le peser,

Asimismo aparejó David mucho hierro para la clavazón de las puertas, y para las junturas; y mucho metal sin peso, y madera de cedro sin cuenta.

And David prepared iron in abundance for the nails for the doors of the gates, and for the joinings; and brass in abundance without weight;

David prepared iron in abundance for the nails for the doors of the gates and for the couplings, and bronze in abundance without weight,

ainsi que des cèdres sans nombre, car les Sidoniens et les Tyriens en avaient amené en abondance à David.

Porque los Sidonios y Tirios habían traído á David madera de cedro innumerable.

Also cedar trees in abundance: for the Zidonians and they of Tyre brought much cedar wood to David.

and cedar trees without number, for the Sidonians and the people of Tyre brought cedar trees in abundance to David.

C’est que David se disait: "Mon fils Salomon est encore jeune et délicat, et la maison qu’il s’agit d’ériger à l’Eternel doit s’élever majestueusement pour devenir un objet de gloire et d’honneur dans tous les pays; je veux donc tout préparer pour lui." Aussi David, avant de mourir, fit-il de grands préparatifs.

Y dijo David: Salomón mi hijo es muchacho y tierno, y la casa que se ha de edificar á Jehová ha de ser magnífica por excelencia, para nombre y honra en todas las tierras; ahora pues yo le aparejaré lo necesario. Y preparó David antes de su muerte en grande abundancia.

And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for the LORD must be exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.

David said, “Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be built for the LORD must be exceedingly magnificent, of fame and of glory throughout all countries. I will therefore make preparation for it.” So David prepared abundantly before his death.

Il fit venir son fils Salomon et lui donna ses instructions pour bâtir un temple au Seigneur, Dieu d’Israël.

Llamó entonces David á Salomón su hijo, y mandóle que edificase casa á Jehová Dios de Israel.

Then he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build an house for the LORD God of Israel.

Then he called for Solomon his son, and commanded him to build a house for the LORD, the God of Israel.

David dit donc à Salomon: "Mon fils, c’était mon désir à moi d’édifier une maison au nom de l’Eternel, mon Dieu.

Y dijo David á Salomón: Hijo mío, en mi corazón tuve el edificar templo al nombre de Jehová mi Dios.

And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God:

David said to Solomon his son, “As for me, it was in my heart to build a house to the name of the LORD my God.

Mais la parole divine s’adressa à moi en ces termes: Tu as versé beaucoup de sang et fait de grandes guerres; ce n’est donc pas à toi à élever une maison en mon honneur, car tu as fait couler beaucoup de sang devant moi sur la terre.

Mas vino á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo: Tú has derramado mucha sangre, y has traído grandes guerras: no edificarás casa á mi nombre, porque has derramado mucha sangre en la tierra delante de mí:

But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.

But the LORD’s word came to me, saying, ‘You have shed blood abundantly and have made great wars. You shall not build a house to my name, because you have shed much blood on the earth in my sight.

Mais un fils te naîtra, qui sera un homme pacifique et qui, grâce à moi, sera en paix avec tous ses ennemis à l’entour. Il s’appellera Salomon, et, sa vie durant, j’assurerai la paix et la tranquillité à Israël.

He aquí, un hijo te nacerá, el cual será varón de reposo, porque yo le daré quietud de todos sus enemigos en derredor; por tanto su nombre será Salomón; y yo daré paz y reposo sobre Israel en sus días:

Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days.

Behold, a son shall be born to you, who shall be a man of peace. I will give him rest from all his enemies all around; for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness to Israel in his days.

C’est lui qui élèvera une maison en mon honneur; il me sera un fils, je lui serai un père, et j’affermirai à jamais le trône de sa royauté sur Israël.

El edificará casa á mi nombre, y él me será á mí por hijo, y yo le seré por padre; y afirmaré el trono de su reino sobre Israel para siempre.

He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever.

He shall build a house for my name; and he will be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’

Maintenant, mon fils, que l’Eternel soit avec toi! Puisses-tu réussir à édifier la maison de l’Eternel, ton Dieu, comme il l’a promis à ton égard!

Ahora pues, hijo mío, sea contigo Jehová, y seas prosperado, y edifiques casa á Jehová tu Dios, como él ha dicho de ti.

Now, my son, the LORD be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of the LORD thy God, as he hath said of thee.

Now, my son, may the LORD be with you and prosper you, and build the house of the LORD your God, as he has spoken concerning you.

Puisse seulement le Seigneur t’inspirer esprit et sagesse en te mettant à la tête d’Israël, afin que tu observes la Loi de l’Eternel, ton Dieu!

Y Jehová te dé entendimiento y prudencia, y él te dé mandamientos para Israel; y que tú guardes la ley de Jehová tu Dios.

Only the LORD give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of the LORD thy God.

May the LORD give you discretion and understanding, and put you in charge of Israel, so that you may keep the law of the LORD your God.

Alors tu prospéreras, si tu t’appliques à observer les lois et les statuts que l’Eternel a donnés à Moïse pour Israël. Sois fort et vaillant, sans peur et sans faiblesse!

Entonces serás prosperado, si cuidares de poner por obra los estatutos y derechos que Jehová mandó á Moisés para Israel. Esfuérzate pues, y cobra ánimo; no temas, ni desmayes.

Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.

Then you will prosper, if you observe to do the statutes and the ordinances which the LORD gave Moses concerning Israel. Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid and don’t be dismayed.

Vois, à force de dur labeur, j’ai amassé pour la maison de l’Eternel cent mille kikkar d’or, un million de kikkar d’argent, du cuivre et du fer en trop grande quantité pour les peser; j’ai préparé aussi du bois et des pierres, et tu y ajouteras encore.

He aquí, yo en mi estrechez he prevenido para la casa de Jehová cien mil talentos de oro, y un millar de millares de talentos de plata: no tiene peso el metal ni el hierro, porque es mucho. Asimismo he aprestado madera y piedra, á lo cual tú añadirás.

Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the LORD an hundred thousand talents of gold, and a thousand thousand talents of silver; and of brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have I prepared; and thou mayest add thereto.

Now, behold, in my affliction I have prepared for the LORD’s house one hundred thousand talents of gold, one million talents of silver, and bronze and iron without weight; for it is in abundance. I have also prepared timber and stone; and you may add to them.

Tu as à ta disposition un nombre considérable d’ouvriers, des carriers, des maçons, des charpentiers, des gens experts à tous les travaux.

Tú tienes contigo muchos oficiales, canteros, albañiles, y carpinteros, y todo hombre experto en toda obra.

Moreover there are workmen with thee in abundance, hewers and workers of stone and timber, and all manner of cunning men for every manner of work.

There are also workmen with you in abundance—cutters and workers of stone and timber, and all kinds of men who are skillful in every kind of work;

De l’or, de l’argent, du cuivre, du fer, il y en a à profusion; va, mets-toi à l’ouvrage, et que le Seigneur soit avec toi!"

Del oro, de la plata, del metal, y del hierro, no hay número. Levántate pues, y á la obra; que Jehová será contigo.

Of the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron, there is no number. Arise therefore, and be doing, and the LORD be with thee.

of the gold, the silver, the bronze, and the iron, there is no number. Arise and be doing, and may the LORD be with you.”

David recommanda aussi à tous les chefs d’Israël de prêter leur concours à son fils Salomon:

Asimismo mandó David á todos los principales de Israel que diesen ayuda á Salomón su hijo, diciendo:

David also commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying,

"L’Eternel, votre Dieu, dit-il, n’est-il pas avec vous? Ne vous a-t-il pas assuré le repos de toutes parts, en livrant entre mes mains les habitants de ce pays, qui a été soumis à l’Eternel et à son peuple?

¿No es con vosotros Jehová vuestro Dios, el cual os ha dado quietud de todas partes? porque él ha entregado en mi mano los moradores de la tierra, y la tierra ha sido sujetada delante de Jehová, y delante de su pueblo.

Is not the LORD your God with you? and hath he not given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people.

“Isn’t the LORD your God with you? Hasn’t he given you rest on every side? For he has delivered the inhabitants of the land into my hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD and before his people.

Appliquez-vous donc, de tout votre cœur et de toute votre âme, à rechercher l’Eternel, votre Dieu. Debout, construisez le sanctuaire de l’Eternel Elohim, afin d’installer l’arche de l’alliance du Seigneur et les vases sacrés de Dieu dans la maison élevée au nom de l’Eternel.

Poned, pues, ahora vuestros corazones y vuestros ánimos en buscar á Jehová vuestro Dios; y levantaos, y edificad el santuario del Dios Jehová, para traer el arca del pacto de Jehová, y lo santos vasos de Dios, á la casa edificada al nombre de Jehová.

Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise therefore, and build ye the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the LORD.

Now set your heart and your soul to follow the LORD your God. Arise therefore, and build the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the LORD’s covenant and the holy vessels of God into the house that is to be built for the LORD’s name.”
