David, entonces, los distribuyó de la siguiente manera: Veinticuatro mil dirigirían el trabajo de construcción del templo del Señor, seis mil serían oficiales y jueces, cuatro mil servirían de porteros, y los cuatro mil restantes serían los encargados de alabar al Señor con los instrumentos musicales que David había hecho fabricar para tal fin.
De éstos, veinticuatro mil para dar prisa á la obra de la casa de Jehová; y gobernadores y jueces, seis mil;
Of which, twenty and four thousand were to set forward the work of the house of the LORD; and six thousand were officers and judges:
