1Und David und die Obersten des Heeres sonderten von den Söhnen Asaphs und Hemans und Jeduthuns solche zum Dienste ab, welche weissagten mit Lauten und Harfen und mit Zimbeln. Und es war ihre Zahl, der Männer, die tätig waren für ihren Dienst:
2Von den Söhnen Asaphs: Sakkur und Joseph und Nethanja und Ascharela, die Söhne Asaphs, unter der Leitung Asaphs, welcher nach der Anweisung des Königs weissagte.
3Von Jeduthun, die Söhne Jeduthuns: Gedalja und Zeri und Jesaja, Haschabja und Mattithja, und Simei, sechs, unter der Leitung ihres Vaters Jeduthun, mit der Laute, welcher weissagte, um Jehova zu preisen und zu loben.
4Von Heman, die Söhne Hemans: Bukkija und Mattanja, Ussiel, Schebuel und Jerimoth, Hananja, Hanani, Eliatha, Giddalti und Romamti-Eser, Joschbekascha, Mallothi, Hothir, Machasioth.
5Alle diese waren Söhne Hemans, des Sehers des Königs in den Worten Gottes, um seine Macht zu erheben; und Gott hatte dem Heman vierzehn Söhne und drei Töchter gegeben. -
6Alle diese waren unter der Leitung ihrer Väter, Asaph und Jeduthun und Heman, beim Gesange im Hause Jehovas, mit Zimbeln, Harfen und Lauten, zum Dienste des Hauses Gottes, nach der Anweisung des Königs.
7Und es war ihre Zahl mit ihren Brüdern, die im Gesange Jehovas geübt waren: aller Kundigen zweihundertachtundachtzig.
8Und sie warfen Lose über ihr Amt, der Kleine wie der Große, der Kundige mit dem Lehrling.
9Und das erste Los kam heraus für Asaph, für Joseph; für Gedalja das zweite: er und seine Brüder und seine Söhne waren zwölf;
10das dritte für Sakkur: seine Söhne und seine Brüder, zwölf;
11das vierte für Jizri: seine Söhne und seine Brüder, zwölf;
12das fünfte für Nathanja: seine Söhne und seine Brüder, zwölf;
13das sechste für Bukkija: seine Söhne und seine Brüder, zwölf;
14das siebte für Jescharela: seine Söhne und seine Brüder, zwölf;
15das achte für Jesaja: seine Söhne und seine Brüder, zwölf;

23das sechzehnte für Hananja: seine Söhne und seine Brüder, zwölf;
24das siebzehnte für Joschbekascha: seine Söhne und seine Brüder, zwölf;
25das achtzehnte für Hanani: seine Söhne und seine Brüder, zwölf;
26das neunzehnte für Mallothi: seine Söhne und seine Brüder, zwölf;
27das zwanzigste für Eliatha: seine Söhne und seine Brüder, zwölf;
28das einundzwanzigste für Hothir: seine Söhne und seine Brüder, zwölf;

1ASIMISMO David y los príncipes del ejército apartaron para el ministerio á los hijos de Asaph, y de Hemán, y de Jeduthún, los cuales profetizasen con arpas, salterios, y címbalos: y el número de ellos fué, de hombres idóneos para la obra de su ministerio respectivo:
2De los hijos de Asaph: Zachûr, José, Methanías, y Asareela, hijos de Asaph, bajo la dirección de Asaph, el cual profetizaba á la orden del rey.
3De Jeduthún: los hijos de Jeduthún, Gedalías, Sesi, Jesaías, Hasabías, y Mathithías, y Simi: seis, bajo la mano de su padre Jeduthún, el cual profetizaba con arpa, para celebrar y alabar á Jehová.
4De Hemán: los hijos de Hemán, Buccia, Mathanía, Uzziel, Sebuel, Jerimoth, Hananías, Hanani, Eliatha, Gidalthi, Romamti-ezer, Josbecasa, Mallothi, Othir, y Mahazioth.
5Todos estos fueron hijos de Hemán, vidente del rey en palabras de Dios, para ensalzar el poder suyo: y dió Dios á Hemán catorce hijos y tres hijas.
6Y todos estos estaban bajo la dirección de su padre en la música, en la casa de Jehová, con címbalos, salterios y arpas, para el ministerio del templo de Dios, por disposición del rey acerca de Asaph, de Jeduthún, y de Hemán.
7Y el número de ellos con sus hermanos instruídos en música de Jehová, todos los aptos, fué doscientos ochenta y ocho.
8Y echaron suertes para los turnos del servicio, entrando el pequeño con el grande, lo mismo el maestro que el discípulo.
9Y la primera suerte salió por Asaph, á José: la segunda á Gedalías, quien con sus hermanos é hijos fueron doce;
10La tercera á Zachûr, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;

1Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was:
2Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king.
3Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the LORD.
4Of Heman: the sons of Heman; Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamti-ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:
5All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king’s order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.
7So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the LORD, even all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and eight.
8And they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.
9Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons were twelve:
10The third to Zaccur, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
11The fourth to Izri, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

1Moreover, David and the captains of the army set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who were to prophesy with harps, with stringed instruments, and with cymbals. The number of those who did the work according to their service was:
2of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah. The sons of Asaph were under the hand of Asaph, who prophesied at the order of the king.
3Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising the LORD with the harp.
4Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.
