De Hosa, esto es, del linaje de Merari, Semri fue cabeza de una clase (porque su padre no tenía primogénito, y por eso le había puesto a él por principal).

De Hosa, de los hijos de Merari: Simri el principal, (aunque no era el primogénito, mas su padre lo puso para que fuese cabeza;)

Also Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons; Simri the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief;)
