Booz engendra Obed ; Obed engendra Jessé ;

Y Booz engendró á Obed, y Obed engendró á Isaí;

And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,

and Boaz became the father of Obed, and Obed became the father of Jesse;
