And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth: her sons are these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.

Y después de la muerte de Azuba, Caleb tomó por esposa a Efrata, que era la madre de Hur.

And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.

Y Gesur y Aram se apoderaron de los campamentos de Jair, también de Kenat y las aldeas, en total sesenta ciudades. Todos estos fueron los hijos de Maquir, el padre de Galaad.

And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.

Y después de la muerte de Hezron, Caleb se unió con Efrata, la esposa de su padre Hezron, y ella dio a luz a su hijo Asur, el padre de Tecoa.

Y los hijos de Jerameel, el hijo mayor de Hezron, fueron Ram, el mayor, Buna, Oren, Ozem y Ahías.

Y Eleasa fue el padre de Sismai, y Sismai fue el padre de Salum,

Elasa engendró á Sismai, y Sismai engendró á Sallum;

And Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,

and Eleasah became the father of Sismai, and Sismai became the father of Shallum,

Y Salum fue el padre de Jecamias, y Jecamias fue el padre de Elisama.

Y los hijos de Caleb, el hermano de Jerameel, fueron Mesa, su hijo mayor, que fue el padre de Zif; y Maresa, él segundo, que fue él padre de Hebrón.

Y las familias de Quiriat-jearim: los itritas, futitas, sumatitas, misraitas; de ellos vinieron los zoratitas y los estaolitas.

And the families of Kirjath-jearim; the Ithrites, and the Puhites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zareathites, and the Eshtaulites.

Y las familias de los escribas que vivían en Jabes: los tirateos, los simeateos, los sucateos. Estos son los quenitas, la descendencia de Hamat, el padre de la familia de Recab.

Y las familias de los escribas, que moraban en Jabes, fueron los Thiratheos, Simatheos, Sucatheos; los cuales son los Cineos que vinieron de Hamath, padre de la casa de Rechâb.

And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.

The families of scribes who lived at Jabez: the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and the Sucathites. These are the Kenites who came from Hammath, the father of the house of Rechab.
