El hijo mayor del rey David fue Amnón, el cual tuvo con su esposa Ajinoán, que era de la tierra de Jezrel. Su segundo hijo fue Daniel, y la madre de este fue Abigaíl, que era de Carmel.

ESTOS son los hijos de David, que le nacieron en Hebrón: Amnón el primogénito, de Achînoam Jezreelita; el segundo, Daniel, de Abigail de Carmelo;
