Meonotay fue el padre de Ofra; Seraías fue el padre de Joab. Joab fue el progenitor de los habitantes del valle de Carisín, o valle de los artesanos. (Se le daba este nombre porque allí vivían muchos artesanos).

Y Maonathi, el cual engendró á Ophra: y Seraiah engendró á Joab, padre de los habitantes en el valle llamado de Carisim, porque fueron artífices.

And Meonothai begat Ophrah: and Seraiah begat Joab, the father of the valley of Charashim; for they were craftsmen.

Meonothai became the father of Ophrah: and Seraiah became the father of Joab the father of Ge Harashim, for they were craftsmen.
