LOS hijos de Judá: Phares, Hesrón, Carmi, Hur, y Sobal.

Et Rhada son fils. Et Sobal engendra Jeth, et Jeth engendra Achimaï et Laad ; les Arathites (Sarathéens) sont issus d'eux.

Y Reaias hijo de Sobal, engendró á Jahath; y Jahath engendró á Ahumai y á Laad. Estas son las familias de los Sorathitas.

E invocó Jabes al Dios de Israel, diciendo: ¡Oh si me dieras bendición, y ensancharas mi término, y si tu mano fuera conmigo, y me libraras de mal, que no me dañe! E hizo Dios que le viniese lo que pidió.

And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

And his wife Jehudijah bare Jered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Socho, and Jekuthiel the father of Zanoah. And these are the sons of Bithiah the daughter of Pharaoh, which Mered took.
