Ele deitou-se com sua esposa. Ela concebeu e deu à luz um filho. Efraim chamou-o de Beriá, porque uma tragédia veio à sua família.

Entrando él después á su mujer ella concibió, y parió un hijo, al cual puso por nombre Bería; por cuanto había estado en aflicción en su casa.
