E giacevano la notte intorno alla Casa di Dio; perciocchè la guardia ne era loro imposta, ed aveano il carico di aprirla ogni mattina.

Estos moraban alrededor de la casa de Dios, porque tenían cargo de la guardia, y el de abrir aquélla todas las mañanas.

And they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge was upon them, and the opening thereof every morning pertained to them.

They stayed around God’s house, because that was their duty; and it was their duty to open it morning by morning.
