Et ils se tenaient la nuit tout autour de la maison de Dieu ; car la garde leur en appartenait, et ils avaient la charge de l’ouvrir tous les matins.

Estos moraban alrededor de la casa de Dios, porque tenían cargo de la guardia, y el de abrir aquélla todas las mañanas.

And they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge was upon them, and the opening thereof every morning pertained to them.

They stayed around God’s house, because that was their duty; and it was their duty to open it morning by morning.
