1Und ganz Israel wurde im Geschlechtsverzeichnis verzeichnet; und siehe, sie sind aufgeschrieben in dem Buche der Könige von Israel. Und Juda wurde wegen seiner Untreue nach Babel weggeführt.
2Und die ersten Bewohner, welche in ihrem Besitztum, in ihren Städten, wohnten, waren: Israel, die Priester, die Leviten und die Nethinim.
3Und in Jerusalem wohnten von den Söhnen Judas und von den Söhnen Benjamins und von den Söhnen Ephraims und Manasses:
4Uthai, der Sohn Ammihuds, des Sohnes Omris, des Sohnes Imris, des Sohnes Banis, von den Söhnen Perez', des Sohnes Judas;
5und von den Schilonitern: Asaja, der Erstgeborene, und seine Söhne;
6und von den Söhnen Serachs: Jeghuel und seine Brüder; sechshundertneunzig.
7Und von den Söhnen Benjamins: Sallu, der Sohn Meschullams, des Sohnes Hodawjas, des Sohnes Hassenuas;
8und Jibneja, der Sohn Jerochams; und Ela, der Sohn Ussis, des Sohnes Mikris; und Meschullam, der Sohn Schephatjas, des Sohnes Reghuels, des Sohnes Jibnijas;
9und ihre Brüder nach ihren Geschlechtern: neunhundertsechsundfünfzig. Alle diese Männer waren Häupter der Väter ihrer Vaterhäuser.
10Und von den Priestern: Jedaja und Jehojarib und Jakin;
11und Asarja, der Sohn Hilkijas, des Sohnes Meschullams, des Sohnes Zadoks, des Sohnes Merajoths, des Sohnes Ahitubs, Oberaufseher des Hauses Gottes;

13und ihre Brüder, Häupter ihrer Vaterhäuser: tausend siebenhundertsechzig, tüchtige Männer im Werke des Dienstes des Hauses Gottes.
14Und von den Leviten: Schemaja, der Sohn Haschubs, des Sohnes Asrikams, des Sohnes Haschabjas, von den Söhnen Meraris;
15und Bakbakkar, Heresch und Galal; und Mattanja, der Sohn Michas, des Sohnes Sichris, des Sohnes Asaphs;
16und Obadja, der Sohn Schemajas, des Sohnes Gallals, des Sohnes Jeduthuns; und Berekja, der Sohn Asas, des Sohnes Elkanas, der in den Dörfern der Netophathiter wohnte.
17Und die Torhüter: Schallum und Akkub und Talmon und Achiman, und ihre Brüder; Schallum war das Haupt.
18Und bis jetzt waren sie im Königstor, gegen Sonnenaufgang. Sie waren die Torhüter der Lager der Söhne Levis.
19Und Schallum, der Sohn Kores, des Sohnes Ebjasaphs, des Sohnes Korahs, und seine Brüder vom Hause seines Vaters, die Korhiter, waren über das Werk des Dienstes, als Hüter der Schwellen des Zeltes. Und ihre Väter waren über das Lager Jehovas als Hüter des Eingangs gewesen;
20und Pinehas, der Sohn Eleasars, war vordem Fürst über sie. Jehova war mit ihm.
21Sekarja, der Sohn Meschelemjas, war Torhüter am Eingang des Zeltes der Zusammenkunft.
22Sie alle, auserlesen zu Torhütern an den Schwellen, waren zweihundertzwölf. Sie wurden in ihren Dörfern verzeichnet; David und Samuel, der Seher, hatten dieselben in ihr Amt eingesetzt.
23Und sie und ihre Söhne standen an den Toren des Hauses Jehovas, des Zelthauses, als Wachen.
24Die Torhüter standen nach den vier Winden: gegen Osten, gegen Westen, gegen Norden und gegen Süden.
25Und ihre Brüder in ihren Dörfern mußten von sieben zu sieben Tagen, von einer Zeit zur anderen, mit jenen kommen.
26Denn die vier Vorsteher der Torhüter, sie, die Leviten, waren in Amtspflicht; und sie waren über die Zellen und über die Schätze des Hauses Gottes.
27Und sie übernachteten rings um das Haus Gottes her; denn ihnen lag die Wache ob, und sie waren über das Öffnen bestellt, und zwar Morgen für Morgen.
28Und einige von ihnen waren über die Geräte des Dienstes; denn nach der Zahl brachten sie sie hinein, und nach der Zahl brachten sie sie heraus.
29Und einige von ihnen waren bestellt über die Geräte und über alle Geräte des Heiligtums, und über das Feinmehl und den Wein und das Öl und den Weihrauch und die Gewürze.
30Und von den Söhnen der Priester mischten einige die Salbenmischung der Gewürze.
31Und Mattithja, von den Leviten, er war der Erstgeborene Schallums, des Korhiters, war das Pfannenbackwerk anvertraut.
32Und von den Söhnen der Kehathiter, von ihren Brüdern, waren einige über das Schichtbrot bestellt, um es Sabbath für Sabbath zuzurichten.
33Und das waren die Sänger, die Häupter der Väter der Leviten, welche von anderen Diensten befreit in den Zelten wohnten; denn Tag und Nacht waren sie beschäftigt.
34Das waren die Häupter der Väter der Leviten nach ihren Geschlechtern, die Häupter; diese wohnten zu Jerusalem.
35Und in Gibeon wohnte der Vater Gibeons, Jeghiel; und der Name seines Weibes war Maaka.
36Und sein erstgeborener Sohn war Abdon; und Zur und Kis und Baal und Ner und Nadab
37und Gedor und Achjo und Sekarja und Mikloth;
38und Mikloth zeugte Schimean. Und auch diese wohnten ihren Brüdern gegenüber zu Jerusalem, bei ihren Brüdern. -
39Und Ner zeugte Kis, und Kis zeugte Saul; und Saul zeugte Jonathan und Malkischua und Abinadab und Esch-Baal.
40Und der Sohn Jonathans war Merib-Baal; und Merib-Baal zeugte Micha.
41Und die Söhne Michas waren Pithon und Melek und Thachrea.
42Und Achas zeugte Jara, und Jara zeugte Alemeth und Asmaweth und Simri; und Simri zeugte Moza,
43und Moza zeugte Binea; und dessen Sohn Rephaja, dessen Sohn Elasa, dessen Sohn Azel.
44Und Azel hatte sechs Söhne; und dies sind ihre Namen: Asrikam, Bokru und Ismael und Schearja und Obadja und Hanan. Das waren die Söhne Azels.

22Todos estos, escogidos para guardas en las puertas, eran doscientos doce cuando fueron contados por el orden de sus linajes en sus villas, á los cuales constituyó en su oficio David y Samuel el vidente.
23Así ellos y sus hijos eran porteros por sus turnos á las puertas de la casa de Jehová, y de la casa del tabernáculo.
24Y estaban los porteros á los cuatro vientos, al oriente, al occidente, al septentrión, y al mediodía.
25Y sus hermanos que estaban en sus aldeas, venían cada siete días por sus tiempos con ellos.
26Porque cuatro principales de los porteros Levitas estaban en el oficio, y tenían cargo de las cámaras, y de los tesoros de la casa de Dios.
27Estos moraban alrededor de la casa de Dios, porque tenían cargo de la guardia, y el de abrir aquélla todas las mañanas.
28Algunos de estos tenían cargo de los vasos del ministerio, los cuales se metían por cuenta, y por cuenta se sacaban.
29Y otros de ellos tenían cargo de la vajilla, y de todos los vasos del santuario, y de la harina, y del vino, y del aceite, y del incienso, y de los aromas.
30Y algunos de los hijos de los sacerdotes hacían los ungüentos aromáticos.
31Y Mathathías, uno de los Levitas, primogénito de Sallum Coraita, tenía cargo de las cosas que se hacían en sartén.
32Y algunos de los hijos de Coath, y de sus hermanos, tenían el cargo de los panes de la proposición, los cuales ponían por orden cada sábado.

37Gedor, Ahio, Zachârías, y Micloth.
38Y Micloth engendró á Samaán. Y estos habitaban también en Jerusalem con sus hermanos enfrente de ellos.
39Y Ner engendró á Cis, y Cis engendró á Saúl, y Saúl engendró á Jonathán, Malchîsua, Abinadab, y Esbaal.
40E hijo de Jonathán fué Merib-baal, y Merib-baal engendró á Michâ.
41Y los hijos de Michâ: Phitón, Melech, Tharea, y Ahaz.
42Ahaz engendró á Jara, y Jara engendró á Alemeth, Azmaveth, y Zimri: y Zimri engendró á Mosa;
43Y Mosa engendró á Bina, cuyo hijo fué Rephaía, del que fué hijo Elasa, cuyo hijo fué Asel.

1So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and, behold, they were written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah, who were carried away to Babylon for their transgression.
2Now the first inhabitants that dwelt in their possessions in their cities were, the Israelites, the priests, Levites, and the Nethinims.
3And in Jerusalem dwelt of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh;
4Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Pharez the son of Judah.
5And of the Shilonites; Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.
6And of the sons of Zerah; Jeuel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
7And of the sons of Benjamin; Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hasenuah,

18Who hitherto waited in the king’s gate eastward: they were porters in the companies of the children of Levi.
19And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the gates of the tabernacle: and their fathers, being over the host of the LORD, were keepers of the entry.
20And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was the ruler over them in time past, and the LORD was with him.
21And Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was porter of the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
22All these which were chosen to be porters in the gates were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by their genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their set office.
23So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the house of the LORD, namely, the house of the tabernacle, by wards.
24In four quarters were the porters, toward the east, west, north, and south.
25And their brethren, which were in their villages, were to come after seven days from time to time with them.
26For these Levites, the four chief porters, were in their set office, and were over the chambers and treasuries of the house of God.
27And they lodged round about the house of God, because the charge was upon them, and the opening thereof every morning pertained to them.
28And certain of them had the charge of the ministering vessels, that they should bring them in and out by tale.
29Some of them also were appointed to oversee the vessels, and all the instruments of the sanctuary, and the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
30And some of the sons of the priests made the ointment of the spices.
31And Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the set office over the things that were made in the pans.
32And other of their brethren, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the shewbread, to prepare it every sabbath.
33And these are the singers, chief of the fathers of the Levites, who remaining in the chambers were free: for they were employed in that work day and night.
34These chief fathers of the Levites were chief throughout their generations; these dwelt at Jerusalem.
35And in Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jehiel, whose wife’s name was Maachah:
36And his firstborn son Abdon, then Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
37And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth.
38And Mikloth begat Shimeam. And they also dwelt with their brethren at Jerusalem, over against their brethren.

40And the son of Jonathan was Merib-baal: and Merib-baal begat Micah.

2Now the first inhabitants who lived in their possessions in their cities were Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the temple servants.
3In Jerusalem, there lived of the children of Judah, of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim and Manasseh:
4Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Perez the son of Judah.
5Of the Shilonites: Asaiah the firstborn and his sons.
6Of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel and their brothers, six hundred ninety.
7Of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah;

19Shallum was the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brothers, of his father’s house, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent. Their fathers had been over the LORD’s camp, keepers of the entry.
20Phinehas the son of Eleazar was ruler over them in time past, and the LORD was with him.
21Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was gatekeeper of the door of the Tent of Meeting.
22All these who were chosen to be gatekeepers in the thresholds were two hundred twelve. These were listed by genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer ordained in their office of trust.
23So they and their children had the oversight of the gates of the LORD’s house, even the house of the tent, as guards.
24On the four sides were the gatekeepers, toward the east, west, north, and south.
25Their brothers, in their villages, were to come in every seven days from time to time to be with them,
26for the four chief gatekeepers, who were Levites, were in an office of trust, and were over the rooms and over the treasuries in God’s house.
27They stayed around God’s house, because that was their duty; and it was their duty to open it morning by morning.
28Certain of them were in charge of the vessels of service, for these were brought in by count, and these were taken out by count.
29Some of them also were appointed over the furniture, and over all the vessels of the sanctuary, over the fine flour, the wine, the oil, the frankincense, and the spices.
30Some of the sons of the priests prepared the mixing of the spices.
31Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, had the office of trust over the things that were baked in pans.
32Some of their brothers, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the show bread, to prepare it every Sabbath.
33These are the singers, heads of fathers’ households of the Levites, who lived in the rooms and were free from other service, for they were employed in their work day and night.
34These were heads of fathers’ households of the Levites, throughout their generations, chief men. They lived at Jerusalem.
35Jeiel the father of Gibeon, whose wife’s name was Maacah, lived in Gibeon.

38Mikloth became the father of Shimeam. They also lived with their relatives in Jerusalem, near their relatives.
39Ner became the father of Kish. Kish became the father of Saul. Saul became the father of Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Eshbaal.
40The son of Jonathan was Merib-baal. Merib-baal became the father of Micah.
41The sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea, and Ahaz.
42Ahaz became the father of Jarah. Jarah became the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. Zimri became the father of Moza.
43Moza became the father of Binea, Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, and Azel his son.
44Azel had six sons, whose names are Azrikam, Bocheru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.
