1 Corintios 10

Ora, irmãos, eu não quero que ignoreis que todos os nossos pais estiveram debaixo da nuvem, e todos pelo mar passaram;

PORQUE no quiero, hermanos, que ignoréis que nuestros padres todos estuvieron bajo la nube, y todos pasaron la mar;

Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

E todos foram batizados na nuvem e no mar em Moisés;

Y todos en Moisés fueron bautizados en la nube y en la mar;

And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

E todos comeram de um mesmo alimento espiritual;

Y todos comieron la misma vianda espiritual;

And did all eat the same spiritual meat;

and all ate the same spiritual food;

E todos beberam de uma mesma bebida espiritual; porque bebiam da pedra espiritual que os seguia; e a pedra era Cristo.

And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Mas da maioria deles Deus não se agradou; por isso foram deixados no deserto.

Mas de muchos de ellos no se agradó Dios; por lo cual fueron postrados en el desierto.

But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

E estas coisas nos servem de exemplos, para que não desejemos coisas ruins, como eles desejaram.

Empero estas cosas fueron en figura de nosotros, para que no codiciemos cosas malas, como ellos codiciaron.

Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

E não sejais idólatras, como alguns deles foram ,como está escrito: O povo se sentou para comer, e para beber, e levantaram-se para se alegrarem.

Ni seáis honradores de ídolos, como algunos de ellos; según está escrito: Sentóse el pueblo á comer y á beber, y se levantaron á jugar.

Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

Don’t be idolaters, as some of them were. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.”

E não pequemos sexualmente, como alguns deles assim pecaram, e em um dia vinte e três mil caíram.

Ni forniquemos, como algunos de ellos fornicaron, y cayeron en un día veinte y tres mil.

Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

Let’s not commit sexual immorality, as some of them committed, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell.

E não tentemos a Cristo, como também alguns deles tentaram, e pereceram pelas serpentes.

Ni tentemos á Cristo, como también algunos de ellos le tentaron, y perecieron por las serpientes.

Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

Let’s not test Christ, as some of them tested, and perished by the serpents.

E não murmureis, como também alguns deles murmuraram, e pereceram pelo destruidor.

Ni murmuréis, como algunos de ellos murmuraron, y perecieron por el destructor.

Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

Don’t grumble, as some of them also grumbled, and perished by the destroyer.

E todas estas coisas lhes aconteceram como exemplos, e estão escritas para nosso aviso, em quem os fins dos tempos têm chegado.

Y estas cosas les acontecieron en figura; y son escritas para nuestra admonición, en quienes los fines de los siglos han parado.

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come.

Portanto, aquele que pensa estar de pé, olhe para que não caia.

Así que, el que piensa estar firme, mire no caiga.

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Therefore let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn’t fall.

Nenhuma tentação vos veio, que não fosse humana; porém Deus é fiel; que não vos deixará tentar mais do que o que podeis, antes com a tentação também dará a saída, para que a possais suportar.

No os ha tomado tentación, sino humana: mas fiel es Dios, que no os dejará ser tentados más de lo que podéis llevar; antes dará también juntamente con la tentación la salida, para que podáis aguantar.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Portanto, meus amados, fugi da idolatria.

Por tanto, amados míos, huid de la idolatría.

Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

Eu vos falo como que para prudentes; jugai vós mesmos o que eu digo.

Como á sabios hablo; juzgad vosotros lo que digo.

Por acaso o copo da bênção, que nós bendizemos, não é a comunhão do sangue de Cristo? O pão que partimos, não é a comunhão do corpo de Cristo?

La copa de bendición que bendecimos, ¿no es la comunión de la sangre de Cristo? El pan que partimos, ¿no es la comunión del cuerpo de Cristo?

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

Porque assim como há um só pão, nós muitos somos um só corpo; porque todos participamos de um só pão.

Porque un pan, es que muchos somos un cuerpo; pues todos participamos de aquel un pan.

For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread.

Vede a Israel segundo a carne: por acaso os que comem os sacrifícios não são participantes do altar?

Mirad á Israel según la carne: los que comen de los sacrificios ¿no son partícipes con el altar?

Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

Consider Israel according to the flesh. Don’t those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar?

Então o que eu digo? Que o ídolo é alguma coisa? Ou que o sacrifício ao ídolo seja alguma coisa?

¿Qué pues digo? ¿Que el ídolo es algo? ¿ó que sea algo lo que es sacrificado á los ídolos?

What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?

What am I saying then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?

Mas eu digo, que as coisas que os gentios sacrificam, são sacrificadas para os demônios, e não a Deus. E não quero que sejais participantes dos demônios.

Antes digo que lo que los Gentiles sacrifican, á los demonios lo sacrifican, y no á Dios: y no querría que vosotros fueseis partícipes con los demonios.

But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

But I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I don’t desire that you would have fellowship with demons.

Não podeis beber o copo do Senhor e o copo dos demônios; não podeis ser participantes da mesa do Senhor e da mesa dos demônios.

No podéis beber la copa del Señor, y la copa de los demonios: no podéis ser partícipes de la mesa del Señor, y de la mesa de los demonios.

Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

You can’t both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can’t both partake of the table of the Lord and of the table of demons.

Tentamos provocar ciúmes ao Senhor? Somos nós mais fortes que ele?

¿O provocaremos á celo al Señor? ¿Somos más fuertes que él?

Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

Todas as coisas me são lícitas, mas nem todas as coisas convêm; todas as coisas me são licitas, mas nem todas as coisas edificam.

Todo me es lícito, mas no todo conviene: todo me es lícito, mas no todo edifica.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are profitable. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things build up.

Ninguém busque para si próprio, antes cada um busque o bem do outro.

Ninguno busque su propio bien, sino el del otro.

Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.

Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.

De tudo o que se vende no açougue, comei, sem vos questionar por causa da consciência.

De todo lo que se vende en la carnicería, comed, sin preguntar nada por causa de la conciencia;

Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:

Whatever is sold in the butcher shop, eat, asking no question for the sake of conscience,

Porque a terra é do Senhor, e também sua plenitude.

Porque del Señor es la tierra y lo que la hinche.

For the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof.

for “the earth is the Lord’s, and its fullness.”

E se alguém dos descrentes vos convidar, e quiserdes ir, comei de tudo o que for posto diante de vós, sem vos questionar por causa da consciência.

Y si algún infiel os llama, y queréis ir, de todo lo que se os pone delante comed, sin preguntar nada por causa de la conciencia.

If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.

But if one of those who don’t believe invites you to a meal, and you are inclined to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no questions for the sake of conscience.

Mas se alguém vos disser: “Isto é sacrifício a ídolos”, não comais, por causa daquele que vos advertiu, e por causa da consciência. Porque a terra e sua plenitude pertencem ao Senhor.

Mas si alguien os dijere: Esto fué sacrificado á los ídolos: no lo comáis, por causa de aquel que lo declaró, y por causa de la conciencia: porque del Señor es la tierra y lo que la hinche.

But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof:

But if anyone says to you, “This was offered to idols,” don’t eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for the sake of conscience. For “the earth is the Lord’s, with all its fullness.”

Mas digo da consciência do outro, não a tua. Por que, então, minha liberdade é julgada pela consciência do outro?

La conciencia, digo, no tuya, sino del otro. Pues ¿por qué ha de ser juzgada mi libertad por otra conciencia?

Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man’s conscience?

Conscience, I say, not your own, but the other’s conscience. For why is my liberty judged by another conscience?

E se eu participo da comida pela graça, por que sou ofendido naquilo que dou graças?

Y si yo con agradecimiento participo, ¿por qué he de ser blasfemado por lo que doy gracias?

For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced for something I give thanks for?

Portanto, ao comer, ou ao beber, ou ao fazer qualquer coisa, fazei tudo para a glória de Deus.

Si pues coméis, ó bebéis, ó hacéis otra cosa, hacedlo todo á gloria de Dios.

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Sede sem escândalo, nem a judeus, nem a gregos, nem à Igreja de Deus.

Sed sin ofensa á Judíos, y á Gentiles, y á la iglesia de Dios:

Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

Give no occasion for stumbling, whether to Jews, to Greeks, or to the assembly of God;

Assim como eu também agrado a todos em tudo, não buscando meu próprio proveito, mas sim o de muitos, para que assim possam se salvar.

Como también yo en todas las cosas complazco á todos, no procurando mi propio beneficio, sino el de muchos, para que sean salvos.

Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.
