1 Corintios 10

Car je ne veux pas que vous ignoriez, frères, que nos pères ont tous été sous la nuée, et que tous ils ont passé à travers la mer,

PORQUE no quiero, hermanos, que ignoréis que nuestros padres todos estuvieron bajo la nube, y todos pasaron la mar;

Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

et que tous ils ont été baptisés pour Moïse dans la nuée et dans la mer,

Y todos en Moisés fueron bautizados en la nube y en la mar;

And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

and were all baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

et que tous ils ont mangé la même viande spirituelle,

Y todos comieron la misma vianda espiritual;

And did all eat the same spiritual meat;

et que tous ils ont bu le même breuvage spirituel, car ils buvaient d’un rocher spirituel qui les suivait : et le rocher était le Christ.

Y todos bebieron la misma bebida espiritual; porque bebían de la piedra espiritual que los seguía, y la piedra era Cristo:

And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Mais Dieu n’a point pris plaisir en la plupart d’entre eux, car ils tombèrent dans le désert.

Mas de muchos de ellos no se agradó Dios; por lo cual fueron postrados en el desierto.

But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

Or ces choses arrivèrent comme types de ce qui nous concerne, afin que nous ne convoitions pas des choses mauvaises, comme ceux-là aussi ont convoité.

Empero estas cosas fueron en figura de nosotros, para que no codiciemos cosas malas, como ellos codiciaron.

Ne soyez pas non plus idolâtres, comme quelques-uns d’eux, ainsi qu’il est écrit : « Le peuple s’assit pour manger et pour boire, et ils se levèrent pour jouer ».

Ni seáis honradores de ídolos, como algunos de ellos; según está escrito: Sentóse el pueblo á comer y á beber, y se levantaron á jugar.

Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

Don’t be idolaters, as some of them were. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.”

Ne commettons pas non plus la fornication, comme quelques-uns d’eux ont commis la fornication, et il en est tombé en un seul jour 23 000.

Ni forniquemos, como algunos de ellos fornicaron, y cayeron en un día veinte y tres mil.

Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

Let’s not commit sexual immorality, as some of them committed, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell.

Ne tentons pas non plus le Christ, comme quelques-uns d’eux l’ont tenté et ont péri par les serpents.

Ni tentemos á Cristo, como también algunos de ellos le tentaron, y perecieron por las serpientes.

Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

Let’s not test Christ, as some of them tested, and perished by the serpents.

Ne murmurez pas non plus, comme quelques-uns d’eux ont murmuré et ont péri par le destructeur.

Ni murmuréis, como algunos de ellos murmuraron, y perecieron por el destructor.

Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

Don’t grumble, as some of them also grumbled, and perished by the destroyer.

Or toutes ces choses leur arrivèrent comme types, et elles ont été écrites pour nous servir d’avertissement, à nous que les fins des siècles ont atteints.

Y estas cosas les acontecieron en figura; y son escritas para nuestra admonición, en quienes los fines de los siglos han parado.

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Ainsi, que celui qui croit être debout prenne garde qu’il ne tombe.

Así que, el que piensa estar firme, mire no caiga.

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Therefore let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn’t fall.

Aucune tentation ne vous est survenue qui n’ait été une tentation humaine ; et Dieu est fidèle, qui ne permettra pas que vous soyez tentés au-delà de ce que vous pouvez †supporter, mais avec la tentation il fera aussi l’issue, afin que vous puissiez la supporter.

No os ha tomado tentación, sino humana: mas fiel es Dios, que no os dejará ser tentados más de lo que podéis llevar; antes dará también juntamente con la tentación la salida, para que podáis aguantar.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

C’est pourquoi, mes bien-aimés, fuyez l’idolâtrie.

Por tanto, amados míos, huid de la idolatría.

Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

Je parle comme à des personnes intelligentes : jugez vous-mêmes de ce que je dis.

Como á sabios hablo; juzgad vosotros lo que digo.

La coupe de bénédiction que nous bénissons, n’est-elle pas la communion du sang du Christ ? Le pain que nous rompons, n’est-il pas la communion du corps du Christ ?

La copa de bendición que bendecimos, ¿no es la comunión de la sangre de Cristo? El pan que partimos, ¿no es la comunión del cuerpo de Cristo?

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

The cup of blessing which we bless, isn’t it a sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, isn’t it a sharing of the body of Christ?

Car nous qui sommes plusieurs, sommes un seul pain, un seul corps, car nous participons tous à un seul et même pain.

Porque un pan, es que muchos somos un cuerpo; pues todos participamos de aquel un pan.

For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread.

Considérez l’Israël selon la chair : ceux qui mangent les sacrifices n’ont-ils pas communion avec l’autel ?

Mirad á Israel según la carne: los que comen de los sacrificios ¿no son partícipes con el altar?

Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

Consider Israel according to the flesh. Don’t those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar?

Que dis-je donc ? que ce qui est sacrifié à une idole soit quelque chose ? ou qu’une idole soit quelque chose ?

¿Qué pues digo? ¿Que el ídolo es algo? ¿ó que sea algo lo que es sacrificado á los ídolos?

What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?

What am I saying then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?

†Non, mais que les choses que les nations sacrifient, elles les sacrifient à des démons et non pas à Dieu : or je ne veux pas que vous ayez communion avec les démons.

Antes digo que lo que los Gentiles sacrifican, á los demonios lo sacrifican, y no á Dios: y no querría que vosotros fueseis partícipes con los demonios.

But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

But I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I don’t desire that you would have fellowship with demons.

Vous ne pouvez boire la coupe du Seigneur et la coupe des démons ; vous ne pouvez participer à la table du Seigneur et à la table des démons.

No podéis beber la copa del Señor, y la copa de los demonios: no podéis ser partícipes de la mesa del Señor, y de la mesa de los demonios.

Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

You can’t both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can’t both partake of the table of the Lord and of the table of demons.

Provoquons-nous le Seigneur à la jalousie ? Sommes-nous plus forts que lui ?

¿O provocaremos á celo al Señor? ¿Somos más fuertes que él?

Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

Toutes choses sont permises, mais toutes choses ne sont pas avantageuses ; toutes choses sont permises, mais toutes choses n’édifient pas.

Todo me es lícito, mas no todo conviene: todo me es lícito, mas no todo edifica.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are profitable. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things build up.

Que personne ne cherche son propre intérêt, mais celui d’autrui.

Ninguno busque su propio bien, sino el del otro.

Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.

Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.

Mangez de tout ce qui se vend à la boucherie, sans vous enquérir de rien à cause de la conscience :

De todo lo que se vende en la carnicería, comed, sin preguntar nada por causa de la conciencia;

Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:

Whatever is sold in the butcher shop, eat, asking no question for the sake of conscience,

« car la terre est au ✶Seigneur, et tout ce qu’elle contient ».

Porque del Señor es la tierra y lo que la hinche.

For the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof.

for “the earth is the Lord’s, and its fullness.”

Or si quelqu’un des incrédules vous convie, et que vous vouliez aller, mangez de tout ce qui est mis devant vous, sans vous enquérir de rien à cause de la conscience.

Y si algún infiel os llama, y queréis ir, de todo lo que se os pone delante comed, sin preguntar nada por causa de la conciencia.

If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.

But if one of those who don’t believe invites you to a meal, and you are inclined to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no questions for the sake of conscience.

Mais si quelqu’un vous dit : Ceci a été offert en sacrifice, – n’en mangez pas, à cause de celui qui vous a avertis, et à cause de la conscience.

Mas si alguien os dijere: Esto fué sacrificado á los ídolos: no lo comáis, por causa de aquel que lo declaró, y por causa de la conciencia: porque del Señor es la tierra y lo que la hinche.

But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof:

But if anyone says to you, “This was offered to idols,” don’t eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for the sake of conscience. For “the earth is the Lord’s, with all its fullness.”

Or je dis : la conscience, non la tienne, mais celle de l’autre ; car pourquoi ma liberté est-elle jugée par la conscience d’autrui ?

La conciencia, digo, no tuya, sino del otro. Pues ¿por qué ha de ser juzgada mi libertad por otra conciencia?

Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man’s conscience?

Conscience, I say, not your own, but the other’s conscience. For why is my liberty judged by another conscience?

Si moi, je participe avec action de grâces, pourquoi suis-je blâmé pour une chose dont moi je rends grâces ?

Y si yo con agradecimiento participo, ¿por qué he de ser blasfemado por lo que doy gracias?

For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced for something I give thanks for?

Soit donc que vous mangiez, soit que vous buviez, ou quoi que vous fassiez, faites tout pour la gloire de Dieu.

Si pues coméis, ó bebéis, ó hacéis otra cosa, hacedlo todo á gloria de Dios.

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Ne devenez une cause d’achoppement ni aux Juifs, ni aux Grecs, ni à l’assemblée de Dieu ;

Sed sin ofensa á Judíos, y á Gentiles, y á la iglesia de Dios:

Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

Give no occasion for stumbling, whether to Jews, to Greeks, or to the assembly of God;

comme moi aussi je complais à tous en toutes choses, ne cherchant pas mon avantage propre, mais celui du grand nombre, afin qu’ils soient sauvés.

Como también yo en todas las cosas complazco á todos, no procurando mi propio beneficio, sino el de muchos, para que sean salvos.

Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.
