1 Corintios 10

ORA, fratelli, io non voglio che ignoriate che i nostri padri furono tutti sotto la nuvola, e che tutti passarono per lo mare;

PORQUE no quiero, hermanos, que ignoréis que nuestros padres todos estuvieron bajo la nube, y todos pasaron la mar;

Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

Now I would not have you ignorant, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

e che tutti furono battezzati in Mosè, nella nuvola, e nel mare;

Y todos en Moisés fueron bautizados en la nube y en la mar;

And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

e che tutti mangiarono il medesimo cibo spirituale;

Y todos comieron la misma vianda espiritual;

e che tutti bevvero la medesima bevanda spirituale; perciocchè bevevano della pietra spirituale, che li seguitava; or quella pietra era Cristo.

And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

Ma Iddio non gradì la maggior parte di loro; perciocchè furono abbattuti nel deserto.

Mas de muchos de ellos no se agradó Dios; por lo cual fueron postrados en el desierto.

But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

Or queste cose furon figure a noi; acciocchè noi non appetiamo cose malvage, siccome anch'essi le appetirono.

Empero estas cosas fueron en figura de nosotros, para que no codiciemos cosas malas, como ellos codiciaron.

E che non diveniate idolatri, come alcuni di loro; secondo ch'egli è scritto: Il popolo si assettò per mangiare, e per bere, poi si levò per sollazzare.

Ni seáis honradores de ídolos, como algunos de ellos; según está escrito: Sentóse el pueblo á comer y á beber, y se levantaron á jugar.

Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

Don’t be idolaters, as some of them were. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.”

E non fornichiamo, come alcuni di loro fornicarono, onde ne caddero in un giorno ventitremila.

Ni forniquemos, como algunos de ellos fornicaron, y cayeron en un día veinte y tres mil.

Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

Let’s not commit sexual immorality, as some of them committed, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell.

E non tentiamo Cristo, come ancora alcuni di loro lo tentarono, onde perirono per li serpenti.

Ni tentemos á Cristo, como también algunos de ellos le tentaron, y perecieron por las serpientes.

Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

Let’s not test Christ, as some of them tested, and perished by the serpents.

E non mormoriate, come ancora alcuni di loro mormorarono, onde perirono per lo distruttore.

Ni murmuréis, como algunos de ellos murmuraron, y perecieron por el destructor.

Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

Don’t grumble, as some of them also grumbled, and perished by the destroyer.

Or tutte queste cose avvennero loro per servir di figure; e sono scritte per ammonizion di noi, ne' quali si sono scontrati gli ultimi termini de' secoli.

Y estas cosas les acontecieron en figura; y son escritas para nuestra admonición, en quienes los fines de los siglos han parado.

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Perciò, chi si pensa star ritto, riguardi che non cada.

Así que, el que piensa estar firme, mire no caiga.

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Therefore let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn’t fall.

Tentazione non vi ha ancora colti, se non umana; or Iddio è fedele, il qual non lascerà che siate tentati sopra le vostre forze; ma con la tentazione darà l'uscita, acciocchè la possiate sostenere.

No os ha tomado tentación, sino humana: mas fiel es Dios, que no os dejará ser tentados más de lo que podéis llevar; antes dará también juntamente con la tentación la salida, para que podáis aguantar.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

PERCIÒ, cari miei, fuggite dall'idolatria.

Por tanto, amados míos, huid de la idolatría.

Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

Io parlo come ad intendenti; giudicate voi ciò che io dico.

Il calice della benedizione, il qual noi benediciamo, non è egli la comunione del sangue di Cristo? il pane, che noi rompiamo, non è egli la comunione del corpo di Cristo?

La copa de bendición que bendecimos, ¿no es la comunión de la sangre de Cristo? El pan que partimos, ¿no es la comunión del cuerpo de Cristo?

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

Perciocchè vi è un medesimo pane, noi, benchè molti, siamo un medesimo corpo; poichè partecipiamo tutti un medesimo pane.

Porque un pan, es que muchos somos un cuerpo; pues todos participamos de aquel un pan.

For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread.

Vedete l'Israele secondo la carne; non hanno coloro che mangiano i sacrificii comunione con l'altare?

Mirad á Israel según la carne: los que comen de los sacrificios ¿no son partícipes con el altar?

Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

Consider Israel according to the flesh. Don’t those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar?

Che dico io adunque? che l'idolo sia qualche cosa? o che ciò che è sacrificato agl'idoli sia qualche cosa?

¿Qué pues digo? ¿Que el ídolo es algo? ¿ó que sea algo lo que es sacrificado á los ídolos?

What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?

What am I saying then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?

Anzi dico, che le cose che i Gentili sacrificano, le sacrificano a' demoni, e non a Dio; or io non voglio che voi abbiate comunione co' demoni.

Antes digo que lo que los Gentiles sacrifican, á los demonios lo sacrifican, y no á Dios: y no querría que vosotros fueseis partícipes con los demonios.

But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

But I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I don’t desire that you would have fellowship with demons.

Voi non potete bere il calice del Signore, e il calice de' demoni; voi non potete partecipar la mensa del Signore, e la mensa de' demoni.

No podéis beber la copa del Señor, y la copa de los demonios: no podéis ser partícipes de la mesa del Señor, y de la mesa de los demonios.

Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

You can’t both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can’t both partake of the table of the Lord and of the table of demons.

Vogliamo noi provocare il Signore a gelosia? siamo noi più forti di lui?

¿O provocaremos á celo al Señor? ¿Somos más fuertes que él?

Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

OGNI cosa mi è lecita, ma non ogni cosa è utile; ogni cosa mi è lecita, ma non ogni cosa edifica.

Todo me es lícito, mas no todo conviene: todo me es lícito, mas no todo edifica.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are profitable. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things build up.

Niuno cerchi il suo proprio, ma ciascuno cerchi ciò che è per altrui.

Ninguno busque su propio bien, sino el del otro.

Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.

Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.

Mangiate di tutto ciò che si vende nel macello, senza farne scrupolo alcuno per la coscienza;

De todo lo que se vende en la carnicería, comed, sin preguntar nada por causa de la conciencia;

Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:

Whatever is sold in the butcher shop, eat, asking no question for the sake of conscience,

perciocchè del Signore è la terra, e tutto ciò che ella contiene.

Porque del Señor es la tierra y lo que la hinche.

For the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof.

for “the earth is the Lord’s, and its fullness.”

E se alcuno degl'infedeli vi chiama, e volete andarvi, mangiate di tutto ciò che vi è posto davanti, senza farne scrupolo alcuno per la coscienza.

Y si algún infiel os llama, y queréis ir, de todo lo que se os pone delante comed, sin preguntar nada por causa de la conciencia.

If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.

But if one of those who don’t believe invites you to a meal, and you are inclined to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no questions for the sake of conscience.

Ma, se alcuno vi dice: Questo è delle cose sacrificate agl'idoli, non ne mangiate, per cagion di colui che ve l'ha significato, e per la coscienza.

Mas si alguien os dijere: Esto fué sacrificado á los ídolos: no lo comáis, por causa de aquel que lo declaró, y por causa de la conciencia: porque del Señor es la tierra y lo que la hinche.

But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof:

But if anyone says to you, “This was offered to idols,” don’t eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for the sake of conscience. For “the earth is the Lord’s, with all its fullness.”

Or io dico coscienza, non la tua propria, ma quella d'altrui; perciocchè, perchè sarebbe la mia libertà giudicata dalla coscienza altrui?

La conciencia, digo, no tuya, sino del otro. Pues ¿por qué ha de ser juzgada mi libertad por otra conciencia?

Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man’s conscience?

Conscience, I say, not your own, but the other’s conscience. For why is my liberty judged by another conscience?

Che se per grazia io posso usar le vivande, perchè sarei biasimato per ciò di che io rendo grazie?

Y si yo con agradecimiento participo, ¿por qué he de ser blasfemado por lo que doy gracias?

For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced for something I give thanks for?

Così adunque, o che mangiate, o che beviate, o che facciate alcun'altra cosa, fate tutte le cose alla gloria di Dio.

Si pues coméis, ó bebéis, ó hacéis otra cosa, hacedlo todo á gloria de Dios.

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Whether therefore you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

Siate senza dare intoppo nè a' Giudei, nè a' Greci, nè alla chiesa di Dio.

Sed sin ofensa á Judíos, y á Gentiles, y á la iglesia de Dios:

Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

Give no occasion for stumbling, whether to Jews, to Greeks, or to the assembly of God;

Siccome io ancora compiaccio a tutti in ogni cosa, non cercando la mia propria utilità, ma quella di molti, acciocchè sieno salvati.

Como también yo en todas las cosas complazco á todos, no procurando mi propio beneficio, sino el de muchos, para que sean salvos.

Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.
