1 Corintios 10

Ich will euch nämlich nicht in Unkenntnis darüber lassen, liebe Brüder, daß unsere Väter allesamt unter (dem Schutz) der Wolke gestanden haben und allesamt durch das Meer hindurchgezogen sind

PORQUE no quiero, hermanos, que ignoréis que nuestros padres todos estuvieron bajo la nube, y todos pasaron la mar;

Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

und sämtlich die Taufe auf Mose in der Wolke und im Meer empfangen,

auch allesamt dieselbe geistliche Speise gegessen

Doch an den meisten von ihnen hatte Gott kein Wohlgefallen, denn sie sind in der Wüste niedergestreckt worden.

Diese Dinge aber sind zum warnenden Vorbild für uns geschehen, damit wir unsre Gelüste nicht auf Böses richten, wie jene sich haben gelüsten lassen.

Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.

Wir wollen auch keine Unzucht treiben, wie manche von jenen es getan haben; sind doch (deshalb) von ihnen an einem einzigen Tage dreiundzwanzigtausend gefallen.

Ni forniquemos, como algunos de ellos fornicaron, y cayeron en un día veinte y tres mil.

Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

Wir wollen auch den Herrn nicht versuchen, wie manche von ihnen es getan haben und dafür von den Schlangen umgebracht worden sind.

Ni tentemos á Cristo, como también algunos de ellos le tentaron, y perecieron por las serpientes.

Neither let us tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

Let’s not test Christ, as some of them tested, and perished by the serpents.

Murret auch nicht, wie manche von ihnen getan und dafür den Tod durch den Verderber erlitten haben.

Ni murmuréis, como algunos de ellos murmuraron, y perecieron por el destructor.

Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

Don’t grumble, as some of them also grumbled, and perished by the destroyer.

Dies alles ist jenen aber vorbildlicherweise widerfahren und ist niedergeschrieben worden zur Warnung für uns, denen das Ende der Weltzeiten nahe bevorsteht.

Y estas cosas les acontecieron en figura; y son escritas para nuestra admonición, en quienes los fines de los siglos han parado.

Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Wer daher festzustehen meint, der sehe wohl zu, daß er nicht falle!

Así que, el que piensa estar firme, mire no caiga.

Es hat euch (bisher) noch keine andere als menschliche Versuchung betroffen; und Gott ist treu: er wird nicht zulassen, daß ihr über euer Vermögen hinaus versucht werdet, sondern wird zugleich mit der Versuchung auch einen solchen Ausgang schaffen, daß ihr sie bestehen könnt.

No os ha tomado tentación, sino humana: mas fiel es Dios, que no os dejará ser tentados más de lo que podéis llevar; antes dará también juntamente con la tentación la salida, para que podáis aguantar.

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Darum, meine Geliebten, fliehet vor dem Götzendienst!

Der Kelch des Segens, den wir segnen: ist er nicht die Gemeinschaft mit dem Blute Christi? Das Brot, das wir brechen: ist es nicht die Gemeinschaft mit dem Leibe Christi?

La copa de bendición que bendecimos, ¿no es la comunión de la sangre de Cristo? El pan que partimos, ¿no es la comunión del cuerpo de Cristo?

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

Weil es ein einziges Brot ist, sind wir trotz unserer Vielheit doch ein einziger Leib, denn wir alle teilen uns in das eine Brot.

Porque un pan, es que muchos somos un cuerpo; pues todos participamos de aquel un pan.

For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread.

Sehet das irdische Israel an: stehen nicht die, welche die Opfer essen, in engster Gemeinschaft mit dem Opferaltar?

Mirad á Israel según la carne: los que comen de los sacrificios ¿no son partícipes con el altar?

Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they which eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

Consider Israel according to the flesh. Don’t those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar?

Was behaupte ich nun damit? Daß das Götzenopferfleisch etwas sei? Oder daß ein Götze etwas sei?

¿Qué pues digo? ¿Que el ídolo es algo? ¿ó que sea algo lo que es sacrificado á los ídolos?

What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?

What am I saying then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?

Nein, wohl aber (behaupte ich), daß die Heiden die Opfer, die sie darbringen, dämonischen Wesen und nicht Gott darbringen. Ich will aber nicht, daß ihr in Verbindung mit den Dämonen tretet.

Antes digo que lo que los Gentiles sacrifican, á los demonios lo sacrifican, y no á Dios: y no querría que vosotros fueseis partícipes con los demonios.

But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.

But I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I don’t desire that you would have fellowship with demons.

Ihr könnt nicht (zugleich) den Kelch des Herrn und den Kelch der Dämonen trinken; ihr könnt nicht (zugleich) am Tisch des Herrn und am Tisch der Dämonen Gäste sein.

No podéis beber la copa del Señor, y la copa de los demonios: no podéis ser partícipes de la mesa del Señor, y de la mesa de los demonios.

Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of devils.

You can’t both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can’t both partake of the table of the Lord and of the table of demons.

Oder wollen wir den Herrn zu Eifersucht reizen? Sind wir etwa stärker als er?

¿O provocaremos á celo al Señor? ¿Somos más fuertes que él?

Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

»Alles ist (uns Christen) erlaubt!« – Ja, aber nicht alles ist zuträglich. »Alles ist erlaubt!« – Ja, aber nicht alles erbaut.

Todo me es lícito, mas no todo conviene: todo me es lícito, mas no todo edifica.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are profitable. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things build up.

Niemand sei (nur) auf seinen eigenen Vorteil bedacht, sondern (jeder) auf die Förderung des anderen.

Ninguno busque su propio bien, sino el del otro.

Let no man seek his own, but every man another’s wealth.

Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.

Alles, was auf dem Fleischmarkt zum Verkauf steht, das esset, ohne um des Gewissens willen Nachforschungen anzustellen;

De todo lo que se vende en la carnicería, comed, sin preguntar nada por causa de la conciencia;

Whatsoever is sold in the shambles, that eat, asking no question for conscience sake:

Whatever is sold in the butcher shop, eat, asking no question for the sake of conscience,

denn »dem Herrn gehört die (ganze) Erde und alle ihre Fülle«.

Porque del Señor es la tierra y lo que la hinche.

For the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof.

for “the earth is the Lord’s, and its fullness.”

Wenn einer von den Ungläubigen euch zu Gast einlädt und ihr hingehen wollt, so esset alles, was man euch vorsetzt, ohne um des Gewissens willen Nachforschungen anzustellen.

Y si algún infiel os llama, y queréis ir, de todo lo que se os pone delante comed, sin preguntar nada por causa de la conciencia.

If any of them that believe not bid you to a feast, and ye be disposed to go; whatsoever is set before you, eat, asking no question for conscience sake.

But if one of those who don’t believe invites you to a meal, and you are inclined to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no questions for the sake of conscience.

Wenn aber jemand euch (ausdrücklich) sagt: »Dies ist Opferfleisch!«, so esset nicht davon mit Rücksicht auf den, der euch darauf hingewiesen hat, und um des Gewissens willen –

Mas si alguien os dijere: Esto fué sacrificado á los ídolos: no lo comáis, por causa de aquel que lo declaró, y por causa de la conciencia: porque del Señor es la tierra y lo que la hinche.

But if any man say unto you, This is offered in sacrifice unto idols, eat not for his sake that shewed it, and for conscience sake: for the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof:

But if anyone says to you, “This was offered to idols,” don’t eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for the sake of conscience. For “the earth is the Lord’s, with all its fullness.”

ich meine damit jedoch nicht euer eigenes Gewissen, sondern das des anderen; denn warum soll ich meine Freiheit von dem Gewissen eines anderen richten lassen?

La conciencia, digo, no tuya, sino del otro. Pues ¿por qué ha de ser juzgada mi libertad por otra conciencia?

Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man’s conscience?

Conscience, I say, not your own, but the other’s conscience. For why is my liberty judged by another conscience?

Wenn ich für meine Person etwas mit Danksagung (gegen Gott) genieße, warum soll ich mich da bezüglich dessen, wofür ich ein Dankgebet spreche, schmähen lassen?

Y si yo con agradecimiento participo, ¿por qué he de ser blasfemado por lo que doy gracias?

For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced for something I give thanks for?

Nun: mögt ihr essen oder trinken oder sonst etwas tun, tut alles zur Verherrlichung Gottes!

Si pues coméis, ó bebéis, ó hacéis otra cosa, hacedlo todo á gloria de Dios.

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Gebt weder den Juden noch den Griechen noch der Gemeinde Gottes einen Anstoß,

Sed sin ofensa á Judíos, y á Gentiles, y á la iglesia de Dios:

Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:

Give no occasion for stumbling, whether to Jews, to Greeks, or to the assembly of God;

wie auch ich allen in jeder Hinsicht zu Gefallen lebe, indem ich nicht meinen Vorteil suche, sondern den der vielen, damit sie gerettet werden.

Como también yo en todas las cosas complazco á todos, no procurando mi propio beneficio, sino el de muchos, para que sean salvos.

Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.
