1 Corintios 12

Mas en orden a los dones espirituales no quiero, hermanos míos, que estéis ignorantes.

Y ACERCA de los dones espirituales, no quiero, hermanos, que ignoréis.

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

Now concerning spiritual things, brothers, I don’t want you to be ignorant.

Bien sabéis vosotros que cuando erais paganos, os ibais en pos de los ídolos mudos, según erais conducidos.

Sabéis que cuando erais Gentiles, ibais, como erais llevados, á los ídolos mudos.

Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.

You know that when you were heathen, you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led.

Ahora, pues, yo os declaro que ningún verdadero profeta, ningún hombre que habla inspirado de Dios, dice anatema a Jesús . Ni nadie puede confesar que Jesús es el Señor, sino por el Espíritu Santo.

Por tanto os hago saber, que nadie que hable por Espíritu de Dios, llama anatema á Jesús; y nadie puede llamar á Jesús Señor, sino por Espíritu Santo.

Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by God’s Spirit says, “Jesus is accursed.” No one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” but by the Holy Spirit.

Hay, sí, diversidad de dones espirituales, mas el Espíritu es uno mismo.

Empero hay repartimiento de dones; mas el mismo Espíritu es.

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.

Hay también diversidad de ministerios, mas el Señor es uno mismo.

Y hay repartimiento de ministerios; mas el mismo Señor es.

And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord.

Hay así mismo diversidad de operaciones sobrenaturales, mas el mismo Dios es el que obra todas las cosas en todos.

Y hay repartimiento de operaciones; mas el mismo Dios es el que obra todas las cosas en todos.

And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

There are various kinds of workings, but the same God who works all things in all.

Pero los dones visibles del Espíritu Santo se dan a cada uno para la utilidad.

Empero á cada uno le es dada manifestación del Espíritu para provecho.

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all.

Así el uno recibe del Espíritu Santo el don de hablar con profunda sabiduría; otro recibe del mismo Espíritu el don de hablar con mucha ciencia;

Porque á la verdad, á éste es dada por el Espíritu palabra de sabiduría; á otro, palabra de ciencia según el mismo Espíritu;

For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit,

a éste le da el mismo Espíritu una fe o confianza extraordinaria; al otro la gracia de curar enfermedades por el mismo Espíritu;

A otro, fe por el mismo Espíritu; y á otro, dones de sanidades por el mismo Espíritu;

To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,

a quién el don de hacer milagros, a quién el don de profecía, a quién discreción de espíritus, a quién don de hablar varios idiomas, a quién el de interpretar las palabras, o razonamientos.

A otro, operaciones de milagros; y á otro, profecía; y á otro, discreción de espíritus; y á otro, géneros de lenguas; y á otro, interpretación de lenguas.

To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

and to another workings of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of languages, and to another the interpretation of languages.

Mas todas estas cosas las causa el mismo indivisible Espíritu, repartiéndolas a cada uno según quiere.

Mas todas estas cosas obra uno y el mismo Espíritu, repartiendo particularmente á cada uno como quiere.

But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

But the one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.

Porque así como el cuerpo humano es uno, y tiene muchos miembros, y todos los miembros, con ser muchos, son un solo cuerpo, así también el cuerpo místico de Cristo .

Porque de la manera que el cuerpo es uno, y tiene muchos miembros, empero todos los miembros del cuerpo, siendo muchos, son un cuerpo, así también Cristo.

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

For as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.

A cuyo fin todos nosotros somos bautizados en un mismo Espíritu para componer un solo cuerpo, ya seamos judíos, ya gentiles, ya esclavos, ya libres; y todos hemos bebido un mismo Espíritu.

Porque por un Espíritu somos todos bautizados en un cuerpo, ora Judíos ó Griegos, ora siervos ó libres; y todos hemos bebido de un mismo Espíritu.

For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.

Que ni tampoco el cuerpo es un solo miembro, sino el conjunto de muchos.

Pues ni tampoco el cuerpo es un miembro, sino muchos.

For the body is not one member, but many.

For the body is not one member, but many.

Si dijere el pie: Pues que no soy mano, no soy del cuerpo, ¿dejará por eso de ser del cuerpo?

Si dijere el pie: Porque no soy mano, no soy del cuerpo: ¿por eso no será del cuerpo?

If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

If the foot would say, “Because I’m not the hand, I’m not part of the body,” it is not therefore not part of the body.

Y si dijere la oreja: Pues que no soy ojo, no soy del cuerpo, ¿dejará por eso de ser del cuerpo?

Y si dijere la oreja: Porque no soy ojo, no soy del cuerpo: ¿por eso no será del cuerpo?

And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?

If the ear would say, “Because I’m not the eye, I’m not part of the body,” it’s not therefore not part of the body.

Si todo el cuerpo fuese ojo, ¿dónde estaría el oído? Si todo fuese oído, ¿dónde estaría el olfato?

Si todo el cuerpo fuese ojo, ¿dónde estaría el oído? Si todo fuese oído, ¿dónde estaría el olfato?

If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?

If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be?

Mas ahora ha puesto Dios en el cuerpo muchos miembros, y los ha colocado en él como le pareció.

Mas ahora Dios ha colocado los miembros cada uno de ellos en el cuerpo, como quiso.

But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired.

Que si todos fuesen un solo miembro, ¿dónde estaría el cuerpo?

Que si todos fueran un miembro, ¿dónde estuviera el cuerpo?

And if they were all one member, where were the body?

If they were all one member, where would the body be?

Por eso ahora, aunque los miembros sean muchos, el cuerpo es uno.

Mas ahora muchos miembros son á la verdad, empero un cuerpo.

But now are they many members, yet but one body.

But now they are many members, but one body.

Ni puede decir el ojo a la mano: No necesito tu ayuda; ni la cabeza a los pies: No me sois necesarios.

Ni el ojo puede decir á la mano: No te he menester: ni asimismo la cabeza á los pies: No tengo necesidad de vosotros.

And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.

The eye can’t tell the hand, “I have no need for you,” or again the head to the feet, “I have no need for you.”

Antes bien aquellos miembros que parecen los más débiles del cuerpo, son los más necesarios.

Antes, mucho más los miembros del cuerpo que parecen más flacos, son necesarios;

Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:

No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.

Y a los miembros del cuerpo que juzgamos más viles, a éstos ceñimos de mayor adorno; y cubrimos con más cuidado y honestidad aquellos que son menos honestos.

Y á aquellos del cuerpo que estimamos ser más viles, á éstos vestimos más honrosamente; y los que en nosotros son menos honestos, tienen más compostura.

And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.

Those parts of the body which we think to be less honorable, on those we bestow more abundant honor; and our unpresentable parts have more abundant modesty,

Al contrario, nuestras partes o miembros honestos, como la cara, manos, ojos, etc., no necesitan nada de eso; pero Dios ha puesto tal orden en todo el cuerpo, que se honra más lo que de suyo es menos digno de honor,

Porque los que en nosotros son más honestos, no tienen necesidad: mas Dios ordenó el cuerpo, dando más abundante honor al que le faltaba;

For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:

while our presentable parts have no such need. But God composed the body together, giving more abundant honor to the inferior part,

a fin de que no haya cisma o división en el cuerpo; antes tengan los miembros la misma solicitud unos de otros.

Para que no haya desavenencia en el cuerpo, sino que los miembros todos se interesen los unos por los otros.

That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.

Por donde si un miembro padece, todos los miembros se compadecen, y si un miembro es honrado, todos los miembros gozan con él.

Por manera que si un miembro padece, todos los miembros á una se duelen; y si un miembro es honrado, todos los miembros á una se gozan.

And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. When one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.

Vosotros, pues, sois el cuerpo místico de Cristo , y miembros unidos a otros miembros.

Pues vosotros sois el cuerpo de Cristo, y miembros en parte.

Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.

Así es que ha puesto Dios varios miembros en la Iglesia, unos en primer lugar, apóstoles; en segundo lugar profetas, en el tercero doctores, luego a los que tienen el don de hacer milagros, después a los que tienen gracia de curar, de socorrer al prójimo, don de gobierno, de hablar todo género de lenguas, de interpretar las palabras.

Y á unos puso Dios en la iglesia, primeramente apóstoles, luego profetas, lo tercero doctores; luego facultades; luego dones de sanidades, ayudas, gobernaciones, géneros de lenguas.

And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

God has set some in the assembly: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of languages.

¿Por ventura son todos apóstoles?, ¿o todos profetas?, ¿o todos doctores?

¿Son todos apóstoles? ¿son todos profetas? ¿todos doctores? ¿todos facultades?

Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?

Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers?

¿Hacen todos milagros?, ¿tienen todos la gracia de curar?, ¿hablan todos lenguas?, ¿interpretan todos?

¿Tienen todos dones de sanidad? ¿hablan todos lenguas? ¿interpretan todos?

Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with various languages? Do all interpret?

Vosotros entre esos dones aspirad a los mejores. Yo voy, pues, a mostraros un camino o don todavía más excelente.

Empero procurad los mejores dones: mas aun yo os muestro un camino más excelente.

But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

But earnestly desire the best gifts. Moreover, I show a most excellent way to you.
