1 Corintios 13

Wenn ich (einer) in den Sprachen der Menschen spräche (spreche) oder (und †selbst) †in der der Engel, aber keine Liebe hätte (habe, nicht liebte), dann wäre (bin) ich (er) ein schallender Gong (Kupfer) oder eine klingende (lärmende) Zimbel {geworden}.

SI yo hablase lenguas humanas y angélicas, y no tengo caridad, vengo á ser como metal que resuena, ó címbalo que retiñe.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
