1 Corintios 13

Quand je distribuerais tous mes biens pour la nourriture des pauvres, quand je livrerais mon corps aux flammes, si je n'ai pas la charité, tout cela ne me sert de rien.

Y si repartiese toda mi hacienda para dar de comer á pobres, y si entregase mi cuerpo para ser quemado, y no tengo caridad, de nada me sirve.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
