Die Liebe ist langmütig und gütig, die Liebe beneidet nicht, sie prahlt nicht, sie bläht sich nicht auf;

La caridad es sufrida, es benigna; la caridad no tiene envidia, la caridad no hace sinrazón, no se ensancha;

Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
