En un caso así, ¿qué debo hacer? Debo orar con el espíritu, pero también con el entendimiento. Debo cantar con el espíritu siempre que se entienda la alabanza que estoy ofreciendo,

¿Qué pues? Oraré con el espíritu, mas oraré también con entendimiento; cantaré con el espíritu, mas cantaré también con entendimiento.
