1 Corintios 14

Jaget also der Liebe nach! Doch bemüht euch (daneben) auch um die Geistesgaben, besonders aber um die Gabe der prophetischen Rede.

SEGUID la caridad; y procurad los dones espirituales, mas sobre todo que profeticéis.

Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy.

Follow after love and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.

Denn der Zungenredner redet nicht zu Menschen, sondern zu Gott; niemand versteht ihn ja, vielmehr redet er im Geist Geheimnisse.

Porque el que habla en lenguas, no habla á los hombres, sino á Dios; porque nadie le entiende, aunque en espíritu hable misterios.

For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

For he who speaks in another language speaks not to men, but to God, for no one understands, but in the Spirit he speaks mysteries.

Der prophetisch Redende dagegen redet zu Menschen zu ihrer Erbauung und Ermahnung und Tröstung.

Mas el que profetiza, habla á los hombres para edificación, y exhortación, y consolación.

But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.

But he who prophesies speaks to men for their edification, exhortation, and consolation.

Der Zungenredner erbaut sich selbst, der prophetisch Redende dagegen erbaut die Gemeinde.

El que habla lengua extraña, á sí mismo se edifica; mas el que profetiza, edifica á la iglesia.

He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.

He who speaks in another language edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the assembly.

Ich möchte, daß ihr allesamt mit Zungen redetet, aber noch lieber, daß ihr prophetische Redegabe besäßet; denn der prophetisch Redende steht über dem Zungenredner, es müßte denn sein, daß er (das von ihm Geredete) auch auslegt, damit die Gemeinde Erbauung dadurch empfängt.

Así que, quisiera que todos vosotros hablaseis lenguas, empero más que profetizaseis: porque mayor es el que profetiza que el que habla lenguas, si también no interpretare, para que la iglesia tome edificación.

I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.

Now I desire to have you all speak with other languages, but even more that you would prophesy. For he is greater who prophesies than he who speaks with other languages, unless he interprets, that the assembly may be built up.

So aber, liebe Brüder – wenn ich als Zungenredner zu euch käme, was würde ich euch da nützen, wenn ich an euch nicht (auch) Worte der Offenbarung oder Erkenntnis, der prophetischen Zusprache oder der Belehrung richtete?

Ahora pues, hermanos, si yo fuere á vosotros hablando lenguas, ¿qué os aprovecharé, si no os hablare, ó con revelación, ó con ciencia, ó con profecía, ó con doctrina?

Now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, except I shall speak to you either by revelation, or by knowledge, or by prophesying, or by doctrine?

But now, brothers, if I come to you speaking with other languages, what would I profit you unless I speak to you either by way of revelation, or of knowledge, or of prophesying, or of teaching?

Wenn die seelenlosen Musikwerkzeuge, obwohl sie einen Klang von sich geben, z.B. eine Flöte oder Zither, die einzelnen Töne nicht unterscheiden lassen, wie soll man da erkennen, was auf der Flöte oder auf der Zither gespielt wird?

Ciertamente las cosas inanimadas que hacen sonidos, como la flauta ó la vihuela, si no dieren distinción de voces, ¿cómo se sabrá lo que se tañe con la flauta, ó con la vihuela?

And even things without life giving sound, whether pipe or harp, except they give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped?

Even lifeless things that make a sound, whether pipe or harp, if they didn’t give a distinction in the sounds, how would it be known what is piped or harped?

Ebenso auch, wenn eine Trompete nur einen undeutlichen Schall hören läßt, wer wird sich da zum Kampfe rüsten?

Y si la trompeta diere sonido incierto, ¿quién se apercibirá á la batalla?

For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

For if the trumpet gave an uncertain sound, who would prepare himself for war?

So steht es auch bei euch: wenn ihr beim Zungenreden keine deutlichen Worte vernehmen laßt, wie soll man da das Gesprochene verstehen? Ihr werdet dann eben nur in den Wind reden.

Así también vosotros, si por la lengua no diereis palabra bien significante, ¿cómo se entenderá lo que se dice? porque hablaréis al aire.

So likewise ye, except ye utter by the tongue words easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye shall speak into the air.

So also you, unless you uttered by the tongue words easy to understand, how would it be known what is spoken? For you would be speaking into the air.

Es gibt wer weiß wie viele verschiedene Sprachen in der Welt, und keine ist (an und für sich) unverständlich;

Tantos géneros de voces, por ejemplo, hay en el mundo, y nada hay mudo;

There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.

There are, it may be, so many kinds of languages in the world, and none of them is without meaning.

wenn ich aber die Bedeutung (der Wörter) einer Sprache nicht kenne, so werde ich für den in ihr Redenden ein Fremdling sein, und der in ihr Redende bleibt für mich ein Fremdling.

Mas si yo ignorare el valor de la voz, seré bárbaro al que habla, y el que habla será bárbaro para mí.

Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.

If then I don’t know the meaning of the language, I would be to him who speaks a foreigner, and he who speaks would be a foreigner to me.

So steht es auch mit euch: weil ihr nach den Erweisungen des Geistes eifrig trachtet, so seid darauf bedacht, zur Erbauung der Gemeinde eine reiche Fülle von ihnen zu haben.

Así también vosotros; pues que anheláis espirituales dones, procurad ser excelentes para la edificación de la iglesia.

Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church.

So also you, since you are zealous for spiritual gifts, seek that you may abound to the building up of the assembly.

Deshalb möge der Zungenredner auch um die Gabe der Auslegung beten;

Por lo cual, el que habla lengua extraña, pida que la interprete.

Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret.

Therefore let him who speaks in another language pray that he may interpret.

denn wenn ich in Zungenrede bete, so betet dabei wohl mein Geist, aber mein Verstand bleibt unbeteiligt.

Porque si yo orare en lengua desconocida, mi espíritu ora; mas mi entendimiento es sin fruto.

For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

For if I pray in another language, my spirit prays, but my understanding is unfruitful.

Was folgt nun daraus? Ich will mit dem Geist beten, will aber auch mit dem Verstande beten; ich will Psalmen mit dem Geist singen, aber auch mit dem Verstande;

¿Qué pues? Oraré con el espíritu, mas oraré también con entendimiento; cantaré con el espíritu, mas cantaré también con entendimiento.

What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

What should I do? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also. I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.

sonst wenn du ein Dankgebet nur mit dem Geist sprichst, wie soll da einer, der den Platz des Laien einnimmt, das Amen zu deinem Dankgebet sprechen? Er versteht ja gar nicht, was du sagst.

Porque si bendijeres con el espíritu, el que ocupa lugar de un mero particular, ¿cómo dirá amén á tu acción de gracias? pues no sabe lo que has dicho.

Else when thou shalt bless with the spirit, how shall he that occupieth the room of the unlearned say Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he understandeth not what thou sayest?

Otherwise, if you bless with the spirit, how will he who fills the place of the unlearned say the “Amen” at your giving of thanks, seeing he doesn’t know what you say?

Du für deine Person magst wohl ein treffliches Dankgebet sprechen, aber der andere wird dadurch nicht erbaut.

Porque tú, á la verdad, bien haces gracias; mas el otro no es edificado.

For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified.

For you most certainly give thanks well, but the other person is not built up.

Ich danke Gott: mehr als ihr alle rede ich in Zungen;

Doy gracias á Dios que hablo lenguas más que todos vosotros:

I thank my God, I speak with tongues more than ye all:

I thank my God, I speak with other languages more than you all.

aber in einer Gemeindeversammlung will ich lieber fünf Worte mit meinem Verstande reden, um auch andere zu unterweisen, als viele tausend Worte in Zungenrede.

Pero en la iglesia más quiero hablar cinco palabras con mi sentido, para que enseñe también á los otros, que diez mil palabras en lengua desconocida.

Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue.

However, in the assembly I would rather speak five words with my understanding, that I might instruct others also, than ten thousand words in another language.

Liebe Brüder, zeigt euch nicht als Kinder in der Urteilskraft! Nein, in der Bosheit sollt ihr Kinder sein, aber hinsichtlich der Urteilskraft zeigt euch als Erwachsene.

Hermanos, no seáis niños en el sentido, sino sed niños en la malicia: empero perfectos en el sentido.

Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.

Brothers, don’t be children in thoughts, yet in malice be babies, but in thoughts be mature.

Im Gesetz steht geschrieben: »Durch Menschen mit fremder Sprache und durch die Lippen von Fremden will ich zu diesem Volke reden, und auch so werden sie nicht auf mich hören, spricht der Herr.«

En la ley está escrito: En otras lenguas y en otros labios hablaré á este pueblo; y ni aun así me oirán, dice el Señor.

In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.

In the law it is written, “By men of strange languages and by the lips of strangers I will speak to this people. They won’t even listen to me that way, says the Lord.”

Mithin sind die Zungenreden ein Zeichen nicht für die Gläubigen, sondern für die Ungläubigen; die prophetische Beredsamkeit dagegen ist ein solches nicht für die Ungläubigen, sondern für die Gläubigen.

Así que, las lenguas por señal son, no á los fieles, sino á los infieles: mas la profecía, no á los infieles, sino á los fieles.

Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that believe not, but for them which believe.

Therefore other languages are for a sign, not to those who believe, but to the unbelieving; but prophesying is for a sign, not to the unbelieving, but to those who believe.

Wenn also die ganze Gemeinde sich an einem Ort versammelte und alle in Zungensprachen redeten und dann Laien oder Ungläubige hereinkämen, würden diese da nicht sagen, ihr seiet von Sinnen?

De manera que, si toda la iglesia se juntare en uno, y todos hablan lenguas, y entran indoctos ó infieles, ¿no dirán que estáis locos?

If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?

If therefore the whole assembly is assembled together and all speak with other languages, and unlearned or unbelieving people come in, won’t they say that you are crazy?

Wenn dagegen alle prophetisch reden und dann ein Ungläubiger oder ein Laie dazukommt, so wird ihm von allen ins Gewissen geredet, er fühlt sich von allen ins Gericht genommen,

Mas si todos profetizan, y entra algún infiel ó indocto, de todos es convencido, de todos es juzgado;

But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:

But if all prophesy, and someone unbelieving or unlearned comes in, he is reproved by all, and he is judged by all.

die geheimen Gedanken seines Herzens werden aufgedeckt, und so wird er auf sein Angesicht fallen und Gott anbeten und offen bekennen, daß Gott tatsächlich in euch (wirksam) ist.

Lo oculto de su corazón se hace manifiesto: y así, postrándose sobre el rostro, adorará á Dios, declarando que verdaderamente Dios está en vosotros.

And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.

And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed. So he will fall down on his face and worship God, declaring that God is among you indeed.

Was folgt nun daraus, ihr Brüder? Sooft ihr euch versammelt, hat ein jeder (etwas in Bereitschaft): ein geistliches Lied, einen belehrenden Vortrag, eine Offenbarung, eine Zungenrede, eine Auslegung (derselben) – das alles laßt zur Erbauung (der Gemeinde) dienen!

¿Qué hay pues, hermanos? Cuando os juntáis, cada uno de vosotros tiene salmo, tiene doctrina, tiene lengua, tiene revelación, tiene interpretación: hágase todo para edificación.

How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying.

What is it then, brothers? When you come together, each one of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has another language, or has an interpretation. Let all things be done to build each other up.

Will man in Zungensprachen reden, so sollen es jedesmal nur zwei oder höchstens drei sein, und zwar der Reihe nach, und einer soll die Auslegung geben.

Si hablare alguno en lengua extraña, sea esto por dos, ó á lo más tres, y por turno; mas uno interprete.

If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.

If any man speaks in another language, let there be two, or at the most three, and in turn; and let one interpret.

Ist jedoch kein Ausleger da, so soll er (der Zungenredner) in der Versammlung schweigen: er mag dann für sich allein und zu Gott reden.

Y si no hubiere intérprete, calle en la iglesia, y hable á sí mismo y á Dios.

But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

But if there is no interpreter, let him keep silent in the assembly, and let him speak to himself and to God.

Propheten sollen gleichfalls nur zwei oder drei zu Worte kommen und die anderen sich ein Urteil darüber bilden.

Asimismo, los profetas hablen dos ó tres, y los demás juzguen.

Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

Let two or three of the prophets speak, and let the others discern.

Wenn aber einem anderen, der noch dasitzt, eine Offenbarung zuteil wird, so soll der erste schweigen;

Y si á otro que estuviere sentado, fuere revelado, calle el primero.

If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace.

But if a revelation is made to another sitting by, let the first keep silent.

denn ihr könnt alle einzeln als prophetische Redner auftreten, damit alle Belehrung empfangen und alle ermahnt werden;

Porque podéis todos profetizar uno por uno, para que todos aprendan, y todos sean exhortados.

For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

For you all can prophesy one by one, that all may learn and all may be exhorted.

und die prophetischen Geister sind ja auch den Propheten gehorsam –

Y los espíritus de los que profetizaren, sujétense á los profetas;

And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets.

The spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets,

denn Gott ist nicht ein Gott der Unordnung, sondern des Friedens – wie in allen Gemeinden der Heiligen.

Porque Dios no es Dios de disensión, sino de paz; como en todas las iglesias de los santos.

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the assemblies of the saints.

Die Frauen sollen in den Gemeindeversammlungen schweigen, denn es kann ihnen nicht gestattet werden zu reden, sondern sie haben sich unterzuordnen, wie auch das (mosaische) Gesetz es gebietet.

Vuestras mujeres callen en las congregaciones; porque no les es permitido hablar, sino que estén sujetas, como también la ley dice.

Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

Let the wives be quiet in the assemblies, for it has not been permitted for them to be talking except in submission, as the law also says,

Wünschen sie aber Belehrung über irgend etwas, so mögen sie daheim ihre Ehemänner befragen; denn es steht einer Frau übel an, sich in einer Gemeindeversammlung hören zu lassen.

Y si quieren aprender alguna cosa, pregunten en casa á sus maridos; porque deshonesta cosa es hablar una mujer en la congregación.

And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

if they desire to learn anything. “Let them ask their own husbands at home, for it is shameful for a wife to be talking in the assembly.”

Oder ist etwa das Wort Gottes von euch ausgegangen oder zu euch allein hingekommen?

Qué, ¿ha salido de vosotros la palabra de Dios? ¿ó á vosotros solos ha llegado?

What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?

What!? Was it from you that the word of God went out? Or did it come to you alone?

Wenn jemand sich für einen Propheten oder (überhaupt) für einen Geistbegabten hält, so muß er erkennen, daß das, was ich euch hier schreibe, das Gebot des Herrn ist.

Si alguno á su parecer, es profeta, ó espiritual, reconozca lo que os escribo, porque son mandamientos del Señor.

If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

If any man thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him recognize the things which I write to you, that they are the commandment of the Lord.

Wenn jemand es aber nicht anerkennen will, so wird er (auch von Gott) nicht (an)erkannt.

Mas el que ignora, ignore.

But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant.

Also, meine Brüder: bemüht euch eifrig um die Gabe prophetischer Beredsamkeit und hindert auch das Zungenreden nicht!

Así que, hermanos, procurad profetizar; y no impidáis el hablar lenguas.

Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

Therefore, brothers, desire earnestly to prophesy, and don’t forbid speaking with other languages.

Laßt aber alles mit Anstand und in Ordnung vor sich gehen!

Empero hágase todo decentemente y con orden.

Let all things be done decently and in order.
