Wenn wir allein in diesem Leben auf Christus hoffen, sind wir bemitleidenswerter als alle anderen Menschen.

Si en esta vida solamente esperamos en Cristo, los más miserables somos de todos los hombres.

If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

If we have only hoped in Christ in this life, we are of all men most pitiable.
